Love this team following from afar since 2014…when Rod was asst coach..Justin Williams came along to finish his playing career..great draft picks. It’s been fun. When I was still on social media Canes responded more than other teams to posts. Cup …summit destiny!

Rod B is a class act all the way. He seems to have solid priorities. He has earned a huge amount of money in his professional life. Seems he’s doing this for all the right reasons. Not money as number 1. Team, meaning all, not just players. accomplishment, family, discipline. Really nice to listen to him.

I know Rod says he doesn’t want to change much but c’mon man I don’t think you can role out Freddy Andersen out there again, the boys played their asses off and if they had better goaltending we would be talking about how to stop Tkachuk and Bennett right now.

Not gonna lie, I really thought if he ended up leaving the Canes and if the Sabres didn’t hire Lindy Ruff, I really thought he might go to Buffalo on account of his relationship with their gm Kevyn Adams.

I like that they said they wish they had a right handed shooting center who could win faceoffs. Like….Vincent Trocheck? Who they chose not to offer to? 🤣

Why does everyone think that Carolina didn’t want Trochek? wtf? They made many offers and while they matched the Rangers price, they didn’t want to commit to the term and length. It is a reasonable concern considering he’ll likely not be generating the same output in the latter part of his current contract
