EXO 엑소 'Hear Me Out' MV REACTION | DG REACTS 

I only now realized that you're one of the very few reactors I've stayed subscribed to exactly because of your insightful thought provoking reaction. Because of what you pointed out I realized that this MV is also very EXO: Kai's biggest hobby is Lego, DO loves cooking and is a chef, Baek into games (and it's Chen's words "I'm not really into games"), Chanyeol is a pro at bowling, they even danced Lay's favorite move! This whole MV is them living in their dorm in the old days, when they survived supporting each other through the hungry years not permitted seeing their families or go out (edit: and they were deprived of their phones too, but here they have their smartphones to connect with other people)... This MV is a brighter and healthier version of their youth, how it could have been, how they'd dreamed about that. Let Me In is comprised of For Life, What is Love, Sweet Lies (Baek floating in the ocean), Love Shot... This one is reminiscent of Kokobop, Power, DFTF photoshoot, their shows and youth. Oh! That's why their 11 anniversary fan meet was called EXO Clock! They're reversing the timestuff in both MVs. That's why these vampires don't look like they're 30+ years old! They've never looked so young. I'm telling you, it's either they've come a full circle (in their career with SME) or now they're starting everything again, a new, modern version of EXO. I love these men so much! Best vocalists, best visuals and best artists with such a deep vision of art. Their solo are as artistic and full of meaning as the group stuff.

Thanks for the reaction. I see this MV as 2 possibilities. One it could be taking place after Let Me In where they gained the ability to reverse time. Since they were separated for a long time, they might be falling back into the habit of being withdrawn from each other but they want to be present in the moment when they are together so they reverse the clock each time they fall back into that habit. Or this could also show X-EXO as they are first created being in a simulation and time loop with the real EXO's memories.

If you didn't know, this is just a side track from the full album, and the title track will be released on 7/10/2023.

Please don't ever hold back on your theories and analysis with EXO, it's the best part of the reactions 😂 The mv does connect to others but even I don't think too much into it at times and just enjoy it's vibe for a while. After listening for the 100th time is when i be connecting things so don't worry too much on that. Can't wait for the title track.

I think all the music videos are connect to each other . From my point of view all three kokobop , let me in and hear me out mvs are connect each other and relate specific storyline . In obsession we see earth is going to burn and perished in fire . Maybe exo stucked in parallel world after that war and they can't remember what happened before ( hear me out mv ) . We see clock shows only 10:45 and after that it just resile again and again . Or when chen see clock is changing so fast in the phone screen , the phone blow up suddenly . Or we see phone on the french fries or between trees that shows some videos from exo, it might be recorded a day before by them but they can't remember it today . They stucked in parallel worlds cycle and every thing just repeat for them. For escaping from this situation we have kokobop mv . They use some drugs and drink weird potion . If you noticed to this mv you see chanyeol bring out from laundry the exact blue dress that he wear in kokobop mv. and he sit over laundry in kokobop. Or in this mv they are eating hamburger and in the kokobop we saw there are many hamburgers floated in the sky . Maybe they experience fantasy sitiuation . in this mv we see they are infront of the tv and watching bowling . We have silmilar scene in both dont fight the feeling and power mv's too , they sit infront of tv and playing video games and watch tv , Which clearly shows alternate universe . And in the let me in mv they are trying to change and repair every thing that happened in the past . We can see they lost their superpowers but they have a special worldview. They knows what will happen in the future even kyungsoo draw meteorite in his notebook before it smashed with earth .

One of my favorite things about Exo reactions is when the reactor tries to connect something in the song or mv to their concept and story line. Something I agree, sometimes I'm like, "How did you come up with that? " lol. Makes the reaction more interesting to me. Super vibe. We are so ready for EXO's comeback. I never get tired of listening to EXO's songs. I still listen to Let Me In every single day. It probably also happens with Hear Me Out.

Definitely seems related to EXO's Koko Bop. If you react to that, you will find a lot of tie-ins I think (careful, your head might explode with the possibilities 😁) because this video has a lot of references to that. Even the Exo logo for this comeback has a KoKo Bop feel.

Just some thoughts I had while watching the MV 1. Parallel/Alternate Universe 2. Flashbacks of the past, which reminded me one of the members that left could turn back/stop time 3. EXO hates technology. Remember their debut song? Kai's Black Mirror? Exo-SC's Telephone?

I believe that Hear Me Out takes place in an parallel/alternate universe, kinda like Love Me Right, a universe that which we kinda did see in the Power MV.

I like your theory and it makes sense when you put it that way that hear me out timeline wise is before Let me in.

Stop apologizing for analyzing things. If someone clicks on a video that's 16 minutes long they should be prepared that there will be analysis 🤷🏻‍♀️ As for my theories I don't have many yet (it was released during my work time) but some things I've noticed: Chen's power is lightning and the phone explodes when he looks at it like the robot's head explodes in Lucky One. The first time we see Kyungsoo sleeping in the bedroom and turning off the clock but then it's Chanyeol in the same situation. And I do agree that it's a prequel to Let Me In My babies were having so much fun 😭 Their voices... 🤬

It was just a happy MV until I read the theory explanation by others. It says it tells us what caused the EXO spaceship crashed on earth and other stuff. And the number of 10:45 is an important clue too. Too much to digest. It’s feel good vibe song. I can see me replaying over all day
