Yes EXO is very straight forward on expressing their feelings. Even calling out their fans if they did something wrong. They are also open on taking criticism and advise from their members so they can solve the issue together as a team.

Unfortunately, what he said about them eating gimbap for a year and not allowed to have phones is 100% true. SM has a bad reputation for treating their rookies/trainees/idols poorly. They put EXO on "diets" and were so strict it should be illegal.. the boys were soooo skinny for their height/age in the beginning, it wasn't until they became successful things changed. Now they expose SM all the time because they aren't scared anymore and their contract is almost up.

EXO always opened his own company they are savage ! In this show i think Suho has finally reached a point wherr it's beyond ridiculous how the group is treated that he feels he needs to do something. I respect Suho as a leader bcs he isn't going to take shit no matter how introuble he may get he knows his members and group deserve better and won'ts stand for such mistreatmemt for any longer. And no matter what SM does, EXO is and will be the breadwinners of the company. EXO is still are their main moneymakers and i don't even know why they not giving them proper treatment .

Ha, EXO is not afraid to spill ALL the tea. This edit doesn't even include all the shade that was thrown in that show. It was literally one of the BEST variety show appearances EXO had. Chen was a special MC on the show that day as well, so he was interviewing his members. And Baekhyun wasn't lying....their training and debut days were hard. Debuting with a big company didn't mean they had ANYTHING easy.

Fact : sm building was built because of the profits of their song growl and this song like South Korea's national anthem

Its true. SM used to give EXO tons of promotion, high budget for mv, send them to promotion on music shows. But because SM knew how big EXO fandom is, they know that we will buy anything bcs of EXO, now they barely had promotion every time they make a comeback. EXO used to release 3 albums in a year (full album, repackage, winter album) but now they totally took winter album from us. EXO have THE BEST winter songs 😭. And they barely appear on variety shows, they rarely give us contents but keep releasing things like mugs or pens or anything useless but expensive with EXO face on it bcs they know exol will buy it anyways

Oh man finally you guys started with this series and that too Yep4Andy!! She's awesome And her compilations are so spot on and funny!! That show is one of the best EXO did ever! About minimalism, that’s not what they’re really talking about, at first when they first debuted SM filmed their videos abroad, with real locations and variety, but as they kept getting more successful, SM started cutting out their budget, as if EXO wasn’t giving them almost half of all the company income, so that’s why we exo-ls and EXO themselves are disappointed, they can still make minimalism abroad anyway! That’s why that was just a poor answer from the company to say they don’t wanna waste the money EXO brings to the company in EXO. Also the trainee system back then, and talking about SM specifically, was the worst ever, they weren’t allowed to have personal phones, they ate poorly, they trained till the last breath and were under strict and dangerous diets! As for the SuperM comment, I believe Baekhyun gave his opinion about the group, and LSM didn’t hear what he wanted, so he scolded Baekhyun instead even if he was asking for his personal opinion, so that doesn’t even make sense, they keep treating them as they aren’t the 50% (even on hiatus) of the income of the company. I’ll keep repeating this, I know money is not everything nor the main thing to care about when you are a fan, but seeing how SM treat them even thought they gave everything to that company make me disappointed, anyway, I hope you can keep up with them, you’ll surely understand if you really attach to them! EXO is straight to the point, they say it as it is. One of the many characteristics why i like them as a group.

Actually what Suho meant on minimalism is that, before they used to go abroad or somewhere to film the Music Video, but recently they noticed that just film it in a Warehouse and just add some Green screen. When Suho asked why is it like that, SM just said Minimalism. As for Baekhyun, what happened was, even when they became a million seller on the 1st year of their debut their only meal for a year are always 12 kimbaps *local cheap food in Korea* with only 2 of it with tuna fillings, they wouldn't even know which is which, I think he felt the unfairness of how SM treated them compared to other groups, as he said even a rookie group is eating an Ox Bone soup already and were allowed to use their phones *when EXO debuted they weren't allowed to use phones for 2 years*

People say there is no one funny in exo because they don't often come on variety shows and just have like two variety shows of their own (one was released in 2012 and the other is recent like last year or so) so we don't have much content. The title was a dig to people that think they arent funny

Lol it's not just Exo anymore, basically them and all of the older SM groups/artists have been there long enough that they're no longer afraid of trolling and/or complaining about the company, especially since most of it makes for good comedic material in talk/variety shows. I'm not sure about Exo yet but I know that Shinee and the other seniors own SM shares so they're not completely powerless either. Besides most of their rebellious moments aren't anything dangerous (like Shinee or Exo deciding to ignore a manager's attempt at stopping a few fans who want an autograph or a picture) and the tea they spill aren't huge classified company secrets (example: most of SM idols have publicly poked fun at Lee SooMan [the LSM Baekhyun was talking about in this video], the company's founder at some point- obviously they have a good relationship with him to be able to do that) or anything lol. I can tell you that just a few years ago Exo would've been a lot more careful about complaining about SM on national tv lol.

That's the reason why EXO seldom go to show because they are very straightforward to each other. Also, EXO is so comfortable to each other coz since from their debut they have a session once a week where they gathered together and talk about stuff, their attitude, on what are the things that needs improvement and to tell that someone if they have some ill feeling. If you tried to watch their guesting in knowing brother, you will learn a lot of things about them. They don't care especially Baekhyun. The first time they guest to knowing brothers it's like a big explosion because of Baekhyun. It's so funny. NCT is from SM too. NCT is very close to EXO just like EXO to Super junior.
