The most powerful sub-unit in the entire k-pop. Their vocals are top tier. We saw that they are great dancers in Blooming Day. Now we see that they can also rap in Horololo. They just don't limit themselves to what position that were given to them in EXO.
Baekhyun rapping always gets me.🥰❤️ I love love this trio!❤️ EXO-CBX sub-unit is 🔥🔥🔥 I suddenly remember EXO's japanese song COSMIC RAILWAY! Please react to the live version of that.☺️🙏
always thought “horololo” comes from “horology” (science of measuring time); what with them knowing all the weekdays hshhfhs and starting the pre-chorus with the lyrics “ten thousand times” for how often they think of someone + the office setting while singing about loving/partying might be like counting down the minutes until youre off the clock 🤔🤔
You guys are really gonna love CBX's song 'Kaching' then, I'm 100% confident about it. (Is it too obvious from my username that I'm a FAN of that song?😂)
Okay now see these reactions are why I started watching reaction channels. It is such a joy to watch others discovering and enjoying something I've enjoyed for years. This was so cool to see how much you guys liked this song/mv. I seriously mean it when I say no other reaction channel that I personally know of, have been so considerate of EXO fans like this one. You both have a family and off camera life but you still make time to sit down and watch EXO content and upload it for us to be entertained by. I've been sick today but these videos this weekend have helped boost my mood. Thank you both so much for being so lovely to EXO and your fellow EXO fans 🤗
8:00 the hell you mean? I remember recommend many Japanese tracks of Exo and CBX like Drop That, Electric Kiss, Lightsaber, Horololo, Paper Cut, Coming Over, Lovin' You Mo, Run This etc 😂😂😂 No worries you can still react to these in future 😂 I love how you guys are having a hard time concentrating on multiple things in this video cause first of all CBX's visuals are really distracting, secondly their choreography is just too difficult and then there's the heavenly vocals and raps of all members ❤ it's a whole package.
CBX’s Japanese songs are amongst my absolute favorite ones!!!!! ❤❤❤ (I love loveeeeee EXO, Chen and Baek’s Japanese songs too!!! They’re just so unbelievably amazing)
It's my first time hearing this song too. 💃 I'm just a maknae EXO-L.😇 I would have told you about it. Like 6 or 7 or 8 times - at least. *nods, points 👉and throws the beloved older EXO-Ls under the bus*🚌
We had to accept that there's a lot of Xiumin in CBX, just seeing his solo works it's quite obvious, that's why this is such a great proyect. It allow them to shows diferent skills and explore other sides, when it came to Xiumin his music sense and vocal and when it came to Baek and Chen their dance and rap.
And in the AFTRs defense, EXO - group, solo and sub-unit (not even including collabs, osts or outside EXO releases) have FAR TOO MANY BANGERS!!!!! That’s it, that’s the very fact
I love the EXO CBX mvs!!! They are always so cool and aesthetically pleasing!!! ALSO ASHAHDSFJSG EXO HAS SO MANY COOL SONGS, ITS AWESOME YOU EVEN GOT HERE TO THIS SONG!!!!!
❤❤❤ Please react to chen & hynn singing on KBS Kpop youtube channel. There are 2 video, one is 질풍가도 , and other is Tears. 🙏🙏🙏 Hope you like that 😊, cause I love it.
It was always my understanding that Horololo is supposed to sound like they are trying to speak but can't get the words out (ie nervous around the girl) There is a line in the lyrics that roughly translates to "the voice doesn't turn into words" And the choreo too is supposed to look like them slapping their mouths because they can't talk properly (at least that was my interpretation. But yeah, made up word (not unlike KoKoBop) to give a feeling of excitement but also stumbling over your sentence (we can all relate yeah?)
😅😂 I love you guys! You are absolutely right, but with EXO, it's like that. I can suggest right now to react to EXO SC and EXO CBX😅 and all the solo albums they have made, including Lay of course. When is about EXO all you can get is PERFECTION 👑🤍 This too (the MV) has something to do with THE LORE! I'm telling you, again!😅 Check out the concept guides 😉. Adiós! 😄👋🫶🫰
10:37 dear you are almost on the verge of crying 😂 I never thought Horololo would hit you even harder than Paper Cut other I would kept spamming your newsfeed about this song.
Not at you scolding us 🤭 horololo is also my fave too. My fave cbx b-side is playdate. You can find the live perf from their concert here. React to Hurdle by Suho. Such a fun Mv. And my ultimate exo bside is Sweet Lies live in korea where they were wearing 3piece suite. I think that's the one Kerry saw accidentally saw. You both have to react to it.
Also I have fond memories with this song, my friend I were jamming with this song in the cab and my third friend was so close to stopping the cab and getting off 😂😂😂
Maybe react to coming over? Its one of EXOs japanese songs. Sooo kinda the same feeling?? I dunno but its really good. Also my Suho's solo song Hurdle! Maaaybe hahaha
As I understand it, Horololo is a made up word that the EXO-CBX members said is meant to mean something like tough or brave. You say it when you want to show someone that you are fearless. The vibe and style of the song has a very Japanese feel to it. I think it's designed to blend modern Japanese music styles with western sounds and beats. "Horololo" is one of CBX's Japanese songs. As you may have noticed, they are speaking Japanese and English in this song. CBX is really popular in Japan, they have even held a Japanese concert tour with just this sub-unit. Yet again, it's thought that the woman or lover that EXO sings about in the lyrics of their songs, and you sometimes see in their MVs, is supposed to be a manifestation of the heart to the Tree of Life, so if you look up the lyrics you will see that they are pretty aggressive. The reason why I think the lyrics of "Horololo" are so forceful sounding is because they are making it clear that they are going to fight to break the control of the Red Force and they will do whatever it takes to find the Tree of Life and reunite the two halves in order to restore peace in the world, etc. It's the whole reason why EXO are here on Earth in the first place. They won't let the Tree of Life, i.e. the girl, give up on them because they aren't giving up until they accomplish their mission. "She" is the whole reason why the EXO members are doing what they are doing. In the "Horololo" MV many people think that CBX are private investigators or detectives, and I agree, that could be their job. However, I like to think maybe they are investigative journalists. I think they are more likely to be journalists than police officers because if they were cops, I think SM would have made it more obvious by showing someone who is arrested being brought in to the station or we would have seen someone in a jail cell or something along those lines. As mentioned before, one of the theories behind EXO's storyline is that the members are traveling through different time periods or dimensions throughout history in their search for the Tree of Life and in their quest to try and fix the destruction and corruption the Red Force has caused throughout humanity. (Which I think has only become more plausible and clearer now that we have seen them reversing time in their new "Let Me In" MV.) So, as you have seen, CBX in particular, has several retro themed MV, which I see as possibly being CBX traveling to that era in history to try and get to the root of whatever problems the Red Force has caused to try to reverse, stop or prevent something from happening. Therefore, in "Horololo" I interpret it as the members are trying to uncover clues to a mystery or to search for someone. I think maybe they are searching for Lay because he is the member that is away from the group. And because Lay, with his power of healing, is Baekhyun's power counterpart, it makes sense that Baekhyun would feel the strongest need to want to find Lay. Plus, EXO really needs Lay to heal everything that is going wrong right now and to protect the members from themselves and the Red Force. There are also clues to the members searching for Lay in Lay's solo "Honey" MV and Baekhyun's solo debut "UN Village" MV, as well as other clues that seem to connect to "Horololo" in those MVs. For example, if you notice the map on the wall in the office in "Horololo," that map looks very similar to the map that Baekhyun has on the wall in his "UN Village" MV. I'm not really sure what the map is showing us at this point, but I think it's a clue to connect the two MVs. It also could be a copy of the digital map that Kai and Taeyong are looking at on the phone screen in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)" MV, or the map on the phone could be a picture of the one on the wall, etc. At one point we also see Xiumin studying a painting or photograph on a canvas. Although I can't really see the picture well, I think it looks like it might be a woman standing in a field, which I interpret as could be the woman that represents the heart of the Tree of Life that EXO have been following, rescuing and chasing after throughout their storyline. And the fact that we see her standing in what looks like a field might explain why we see all 3 of the CBX members in the wheat field looking for something. Also, if CBX are investigative reporters, it might help explain how the storyline in their "Hey Mama" MV and "Horololo" MV are intertwined. As you have seen, in "Hey Mama" CBX have infiltrated a news TV station and they are working to break the control the Red Force has over everyone working for the TV station. TV reporters are another type of journalists who also investigate and report the news. "Hey Mama" also has a retro theme. However, that MV is set more in the late '80s or early '90s because we see the CBX members using older desktop computers, which just further shows how they could be traveling to different time periods. Journalists have a lot of similarities to private detectives, especially during the 1950s, '60s. '70s, '80s era, which both "Hey Mama" and "Horololo" MVs seem to be themed around. (If you notice, people are not using computers in that office in "Horololo," so that establishes how they are in a less modern era.) So, that's why I think CBX might be undercover as part of the media in both MVs. I really see parallels in the "Horololo" MV storyline to the way investigative reporting was done before technology made it less necessary to do the footwork needed to track down the sources and information to crack a case or break a story. Kind of like, for example, in the Woodward and Bernstein era with confidential informants like "Deep Throat," etc. I think CBX might be searching for something to do with Lay, as well as the Tree of Life and the Red Force, etc. but I think they are currently doing it by way of the media. As you have also seen in EXO's "Love Me Right" MV, we see Baekhyun laying on the train tracks. I think the scene in the field with Xiumin sitting on the train tracks and Chen taking photos while standing on the train tracks in "Horololo" is somehow connected to that scene in "Love Me Right." (And I also think it's connected to the train theme in all of SM's other groups' and artists' MVs.) These scenes on their own may seem strange, but if you have been following EXO's story from day one, you will see that even the most minute of details, no matter how strange or out of place it may seem, has actually been very purposefully thought out and designed to be a clue to another part of EXO's story. Although, I don't know what it means yet, I am positive that that guy in the uniform who is sitting in the shed next to the train tracks, was there for a very specific reason, and it will probably become clearer in the future as SM reveals more of the story in other MVs, we just have to wait and see. At the end when they say "It ain't over yet" what I think they mean is that the story has not ended yet. The storyline of them searching for clues will continue in their future MVs. And if you notice, the office is now covered in sheets of plastic like its under construction or it has been mothballed and covered up because it has now been abandoned. I'm not sure what this means either, but I think it is showing something to do with the fact that they are traveling back and forth between time periods and they may have come back to the location from a different time in history.
MY TIME HAS COME- I am actually a full blooded Native American and never saw this as offensive or inappropriate or even thought about it in that light, so... yeah, it's fine. Horololo is not an onomatopoeia with any negative, stereotypical connotations 😁 That section in Boombayah oth, Imma be honest, did feel a bit iffy when it came out but no one else seemed to feel that way so I just let that one go. There aren't that many of us in kpop fandom 🤷♀️ Edit: Oops, I meant the general public didn't feel that way when the song released, not you two.
I have no authority to comment but I can see the difference you point out. It helps that the styling and location is so clearly an vintage Japanese office setting here. (In my head the move is them slapping themselves in the mouth because they can't get their words out right when talking to the girl they are interested in....)
Im always kind of suprised as well when no one comments on that. Im not Native but from Oklahoma and alot of people I know, grew up with, are. The Black Pink bit is a bit much for me, but yeah never seen anyone comment on it.
@@rebeckaroy6790 I think it also helps that here it's an actual lyric that wouldn't stand out just listening to the song but in the other instance, it's clear what it is with or without the video.
Wendy from Red Velvet is releasing her second mini album on the 12th of March so I think this is the perfect time for you to react to her first solo single! It's called 'Like Water' and it's such a beautiful song 🥺 I also recommend her song 'When This Rain Stops'
