I am freakin love D.O. after watching his drama, he lead me to EXO. I've been searching for D.O's gf, ex gf, even dating rumors. Its none. OMG. Whats wrong with the local fans ? Don't you want your idol to be happy ? At least please free them. I wanna see him with his girlfriend and getting marry someday
he doesn't have rumors bc he wants to focus on his career for now. his schedule is quite busy when he has to handle it as both an actor and idol. he said he doesn't have too much time for a relationship. he also said that he would choose love above friendship, though its kinda sensitive for idols to say it in korea. i love him and would def support him if he's on date, i just wanna say i trust him that he would do what he wanna do and follow his heart, so it might have some effect but i think the reason why he doesnt have rumors is not exactly the opinions of local fans. sorry for my eng if there's any confusion
But there are pics and stories of his ex gf from high school and he had a major dating rumor as well (with Girls Day Sojin?). It was everywhere, I never even searched for it.

First of all, these fans are CRAZY. Just because one spends their money on singers doesn’t mean one owns them. It’s one’s choice to do so since they make them happy. Secondly, every time I watch this I cry because I think with D.O.’s personality he has often found his desire for a simple life conflicting with his career which he truly loves. The crazy obsessive fans make it even harder. Thirdly, It breaks my heart that these are men almost in their 30s and they have never experienced dating normally.

I stumbled upon this video and your comment...I loved watching them perform. I'm new to their music, cannot believe I didn't listen to it earlier, but now I'm a huge fan. Imo they are the best Kpop band, if not the strongest band globally. About the dating thing, my stomach turned and I felt so shocked and saddened how the fans reacted so rudely...I wasn't aware that kpop artists have to face this kind of backlash. I was so happy to hear Chen's news about his marriage! I hope fans stop this kind of toxicity because artists deserve to have their own privacy and personal life, this kind of pressure can affect them both emotionally and psychologically. Honestly, it's childish that some fans can have such expectations and also reallyyy creepy! If you stan someone wouldn't you want them to be content and happy?!! So yea I agree with your comment

I'm glad Chen is carrying on with his life. He looks happy and that's all that matters. I wish all fans would be mature like you. Kpop culture can be toxic. I have seen so many disgusting things over the years.
It's so sad, why fans don't want them to date?? I mean yes I do love kyungsoo and see him as man I want to get married and live with him forever but we should know that it's not possible at all 😭. 그냥 다들 행복했으면 좋겠는데... 각자 연애도 하고 거리도 편하게 돌아다니고. 물론 엑소가 무대 위에서 보여주는 모습들 정말 멋지고 좋지만 연예인이라는 이유로 일거수일투족 모든 시선이 늘 집중되고, 편하게 쉬고 싶을 때도 있을텐데 그러지도 못하고 사소한 제스처 하나하나에 온갖 추측을 하고 이유없이 비난하고.. 진지충이라고 욕할 수도 있겠지만 진짜 그런 점들은 개선되면 좋을 것 같음.

Korean fans are very toxic. They want to own their idols. That's why others are having relationships in private. I think it's because of their culture. Korean idols are great, their actors and actresses are all very talented. But the fans are sadly the worst and the most toxic in the world.

What I really like about these guys is that they support and lift each others up. Starting from a great leader down to every member. These guys are amazing, all in one package; the talent, the looks, and the character. I love how they show how much they treasure D.O such an amazing young man and of course the rest of the guys. World class talent indeed!

It saddens me when the fans said "no" about the future dating plans of the band. I'm a fan not just of their looks or songs but because of their personalities as well. They make me feel "kilig" too. But that doesn't mean that we restrict them or hate them from/when dating. They can date if they want too. We don't own them, guys. Being a fan is important, being an obsessed fan is another thing.
