Baekhyun is flexible and a fast learner but he was never one of the best dancers. It's Xiumin that one of the choreographers said that is as good as Kai. Xiumin's lack of confidence holds him back though.
So many Exo's teaser songs that haven't released. It still a mystery until now. El dorado teaser out in 2012 and full song released in 2015. Hoping someday SM release Metal, Time Control, Phoenix, Run&gun. And If you want to react EXO's CONCERT I suggest you to watch EXO CONCERT in JAPAN. it's better quality, and amazing to watch.
Exo concert in japan maybe more high quality but the one in seoul is better in term of vocal because their vocal are more clear and raw, u can hear their vocal very clearly, that's why i prefer korean concert more
Now you see what we have been telling you all along about how planned out everything EXO is involved in actually is. Most of the songs that they released even years after debut were songs that were teased to in their teaser videos even before fans knew who EXO was. That just goes to show you why we say that everything EXO does comes back to their storyline. :D Absolutely everything has been planned out down to the most minute detail for years in advance and for years to come. And why you remember some of the teaser scenes is because they used the debut teasers in their pre-debut MV for "What Is Love." So you saw several of their teaser videos when you watched the "What is Love" MV. However, not all of the songs you heard in the teasers were songs that made it to the albums or maybe they are songs that haven't been released yet. Most of the songs which you said you haven't heard yet or don't remember are songs that have not been released yet or may never exist as a full song. (We haven't heard them yet either. LOL)

Song titles like Metal, Run & Gun, Lightsaber (the one from the teaser is completely different to their Star Wars collab), Phoenix, Reflection I, Emergency were specifically for the teasers I'm pretty sure, so you don't need to worry that you didn't recognise them. All the other song snippets you heard though, are from their official songs that they have released

As a nonfan back then, I, even though wasn't into an sm group, noticed the hate he got on public sites due to this heavy featuring in these teasers. To be honest, I thought he was overshadowing others. But now, looking back again, sm had a reason to do so. Just look at his face and charisma, that's the visual shock sm has always wanted and planned for years with each boy group they debut. Not all groups' center in sm succeeded in doing so, but Kai is a perfect example of an atttractive face of a group.
@@AmySpencerVIP up until this day i still disagree with that decision. A center is needed for attention but SM didn't have to push him that hard (same goes with Taeyong). They need to realize not a lot of people have same taste, so it's better let the viewer see as many side of the members as possible. Look at Baekhyun, even without being a center, he grabs people's attention easily. Look at D.O, he finds his own way to attract people through his quiet manner. There is a limit of pushing a center, and publishing >1/2 debut teasers with 1 member certainly is not a healthy way. It'll create some sort of insecurities among the member and keep away some fans that is not attracted to SM's choice of typical visual. Nonetheless, Kai did not deserve the hate he got back then, it's all the company's decision and they were to blame for that decision.

I'm not stating anything related to SM's decision, but I've seen multiple accounts in some other groups where the centers are pushed too hard. The result is a kind of 'pitiful' feeling towards other members who fans think deserve to be more in the spotlight, especially if we're talking about chinese fans. But anyway, seeing how Kai and other members perform, it's still safe to say that SM knows better than us which way is better for business. It might seem bitter for fans, yet Exo was picturized with a dancing image.

yep...That songs were lost coz their debut wasnt so "good" for a company like SM+ the hate they got back then. Chanyeol said they recorded a song called aura too...btw i still have hope XD!

Kai earned his nickname "dancing machine" even before EXO's debut because he was is over half of the teasers dancing, a lot of it by himself; it was even a question at their XOXO showcase of how many teasers he appeared in^.^ Speaking of XOXO, you'll remember My Lady was on that album, but that album didn't come out until around a year after EXO's debut & Lightsaber came out even way later!~ [A song called Going Crazy off one of EXO's more recent albums The War, was actually the background music in a VCR during one of their tours years before that album released!] There are still songs from the debut teasers that haven't ever been released, and probably won't because those particular ones (like Time Control & Metal) are now very much associated with former members; while those songs weren't officially released Time Control and Metal were performed live at broadcasted special events with those members... There's a hope Run & Gun might get released if SeKai ever do a subunit; they've performed it live a few times~
There are a couple mini albums other than Mama. Like the Christmas ones and stuff. Kai is in a lot of these teasers because of their unique background story. He is the only one of them that remembers everyone of the 12 legends and he knows how to find them no matter where they are. He is responsible, as the center and face of EXO, to introduce all the others. That first teaser is my Favorite teaser. Great song, my baby bias kai, and the look of it, dancing in water....love everything about that teaser.

LOL I was reading articles from when the teasers were released, and most of the comments called EXO "Kai and Friends" because so much of the focus was on Kai in the beginning. The teasers are great, but I wish the singers and rappers got more attention. Definitely Chen since we only see him in a little bit of one. And D.O and Suho too, if I'm not mistaken. At least Minseok got to dance in the last teaser.
If you're feeling blue and want something silly to watch. May I suggest the "Travel the World on EXO's Ladder" series. It's a mystery trip with Exo and they have lots of games and silly times. It's available with english subs and will give you a pretty good hint about their personalities when they're not on stage. ^^ Hope you feel better tomorrow!
Many of these songs have not been released still. And these teasers were released over a period of 5 months that drove us mad with frustration but this is what started the teasers of comebacks and debut teasers trend that is now widely practiced. it was huge and you see the production value in there with all the CGs and stuff, the most expensive debut ever. Also you see Kai a lot here bcz he is the face and center of EXO so they really focused a lot on him. That's why most ppl know Kai even if they don't know EXO.

SM always planning everything carefully, you see that some song not come in exo first album, some song is come out in next album, next next year actually, so if you hear some song the you can recognize maybe that song is not come out yet, in their debut teaser there was some song that not come out yet until now, like when you notice song when kai dance that remain MJ, the title is reflection i think, some exo l guess that the song which came as title song in exo full album 5th cuz exo really teasing about MJ thing in their live, concert, etc (actually now we know that we false cuz its tempo)
Fun fact: Kai tore his pants while dancing in the water for My Lady. They couldn’t fix it so they had to use CG to cover it up 😂😂. The song used in Chanyeol’s teaser is El Dorado which was also used in Baek’s pathcode teaser. We had to wait 3 years to get that masterpiece. I really love the current Lightsaber but i want to hear the full version of Lightsaber from the debut teaser as well.
EXO's debut teasers era set the standard for debut teasers after this. The teasers were considered an "era" because they were teased for months, from December 2011 to their debut in April 2012. You can see the cinematography and score, the whole concept of their lore from the eclipses and the tracks they've recorded even predebut that were gradually released in coming albums and some are even still not released until today. There was a lot of thought that came to their debut and it helped build the fanbase when they finally did because it showcased their talents and individuality and it had the audience intrigued. There's a reason they marked the start of the 3rd generation in kpop. It was totally okay to be confused with the members name's and the songs because they looked all so young here. These were recorded what? 7 to 8 years ago? They've all grown up so much since then lol. Please remember to take care of your health! I am fangirling with you right now but the difference is that I'm crying as I remembered the time when I first got into EXO in 2013. All this teasers made me nostalgic and emotional.
Chanyeol appeared only in the last teasers and his older sister said that he himself had already begun to worry. By the way, some of the songs like METAL are not really songs from the albums, but some are like El Dorado, for example It's a real disappointment that they did not let Beakhyun dance because he's one of the dancers with the most style and smooth dance in Exo - more than Kai, who is sexy and powerfull- Beakhyun dance is 'art', and that's the words of their chiographer! he and kai are so creative and know how to make the best expressions when they dancing. Exo released 23 teasers according to the dubet, and this is the most grandiose debut in the history of k-pop! In the first six months everyone called them "SM's biggest mistake" and they did not earn money, their fans got a lot of derision. And the fandom supported with all thestrength and anyone who could bought 5 albums to help them. Proud of the way they have done since then PS Tao has known for his martial arts skills for years before he came to Exo. and LAY dances from a very young age.
TAO was known for his material artist skills and he love it very much. but he got injured in his back befor he came to korea and after some years he also injured his legs because of the hart excercis he had to so in material artists, and his father came to korea and said that SM dont take care of him even when he wasin bad condition! and that's why he leaved EXO, even tho' TAO wanted to stay but he had to go to USA for treatment fun fact: even tho' he looks freaking cool he is actually the lttle baby or-little scared baby! he afraid from everything! and he is such a diva... he was the little baby of EXO even tho sehun was youngest. he and suho mom was like real mom and child lol! his personality and his character are so uniqe. i miss him!

If I'm gonna be completely honest with myself/the world, Nini really annoyed me when I was first getting into exo because he was just in 90% of the teasers and that just really annoyed me for some reason even when knowing he's technically the "face" of the group. Like I was really bitter about it for a while, even my cousin was when I started shoving exo down her throat. I love all of them equally now but I'll think back to that sometimes and then see all the gifs/videos I've saved of Nini being the cutest bear and think to myself "wow....character development"
The funny thing is that he got the less exposure once EXO debut. Non of her s solo project has anything to do with him being an idol nor a singer. Which is sad.
Kai being in most of the teasers was intended nd if u look at the bigger image you'll see that. Kai is the center of the group and the one who opens the songs everything begins with him and ends with him as well. He's the one who connects the members too since he can teleport. The teasers were for the members and the songs as well many of the songs featured here made it to their discography and many others didn't yet. The teasers highlighted more the performance aspect from the dance line kai lay sehun and luhan to martial arts by tao. The vocal line's actual teaser is what is love since it was released before their actual debut. So i think the members who were not given justice here are chanyeol kris xiumin and suho.
A few of those teaser songs are either Reproduced or they are just in the teaser like „Metal“ or „Lose Control“ also those are the debut teasers so the songs like Black Pearl and the others were released 1 year later in the full album. Or the one called „Beautiful“ the the „El dorado“ one came like 3 years later in the Exodus album. They hyped exols to death for El dorado.

Luhan is around 177cm. The reason he looked tall here because jongin and sehun were just babies they haven’t fully grown yet that time. Now both of the maknae grown into fine tall man. 😍 Btw don’t be fooled by tao teasers. He is far from that scary cool image look. He is actually a whiny cry baby 😂
that confusion between luhan and sehun is so relatable hahaha imagine how we all were right at the beginning! sehun wasn't as tall then (he used to be shorter than kai, still can't believe he grew that much) so they were of similar heights and everyone thought they looked the same. kai had to practice so much for these teasers because he was the first to represent the group and he was like 17? a cute baby!
btw they also had Debut Showcase. The made Debut Showcase twice. In Korea and in China (The stage and singing part are different). You need to watch the Debut Showcase ^_^
With these, Kai earned the name as the "Teaser King" since he appeared a lot. He's the Face of the Group and also the Main Dancer so that explains why SM pushed him. Kai can pull fans especially international fans plus his name means open so he started with EXO's teasers. Each teaser gave a sneak peek to some of EXO's song and some are already released up to this date.

Seeing the teasers again make me wonder if they gonna release the song they haven't release from theirs teasers. Mostly is planned out b4 they debut and i wonder if we gonna see those songs since we know we lost 3members which is 3powers and if it affect the storyline that maybe get cut? We can also see in these teasers that they look up to the sky a lot during the eclipse.
Some of the teaser bg are from unreleased music. Like on Chanyeol's teaser it's a music on their exodus album. Same on Kai and Baekhyun. So I wont be surprised if other teaser bg will appear on exo's future album. Kai's name Chinese character is the letter for 'key'. That's why his power is teleportation and also why he starts and end every members teaser. It was quiet a fuss because fans thought SM was just play favorite on Kai with all the attention they gave him. Most of the songs in the teaser aren't even released, and the lightsaber one wasn't the same lightsaber we have now. SM always doing that, whether they use the unreleased ones for concerts, released it later (like El Dorado), or in worse case giving it to other group. For example, like SNSD's Dancing Queen was recorded in 2009 but released in 2012, or Fx's Hot Summer was originally planned and even had been recorded for SNSD.
This wasn't introducing the members but using the members to introduce the songs. It was in right order btw, but it's just that SM loved Kai ALOT at that time. And he was sorta SM's focus, so he's in almost every video. He was also the most known member after their debut!
