he’s the only idol I’ve seen who has incorporated his ballet background with a modern style so exquisitely like this edit: woah there I’m not here to start arguments. Im not saying that no other idol has done ballet or incorporated movements inspired from ballet. I’m just complimenting Kai specifically because his ballet history comes through so clearly (you can literally label his performances with ballet moves, techniques, and positions, and the discipline in his dancing is very clear) and yet AT THE SAME TIME his style is undeniably modern. It’s a perfect gorgeous mix that meshes a MASTERY of different styles of dancing WITHOUT compromising any of them at all. And THATS special, that’s absolutely unique on the idol scene as of right now.

This is one of the hose that are dances that is harder to dance then it looks, like the amount of control you have to have over your body to be able to go from fast movements to slow so... flawlessly is huge, that Jongin can do it so easily truly terrifies me. As a fellow ballet dancer (I’ve done ballet for thirteen years, basically since i started walking) I am blown away by this, it’s so complicated and intricate and yet he manages to portray the story flawlessly

Nini dance move and dance presence can kill you while watching him dancing. Very detailed and his posture is very awesome. I am a contemporary dancer but seeing him dancing gracefully, very flexible and detailed I can ask myself again if I am a good dancer or not. He set again standard in dancing.
