In this mv you can see Exo using their powers. If you don’t know, Exo concept is: they are aliens from Exo Planet and each one has super power.

This MV is one of the MV's that connects and serve as one piece in a huge storyline from "Mama" to "Obsession". Their debut song "Mama" introduce where they came from, from the EXO planet, Why they came to the Earth, and what each member's superpower is, etc. Knowing that amount of information might be the first step to enter the EXO world. So you need to react to Mama, Wolf, Growl, Overdose, etc.

The guy with the "twisted hair" was KAI!!! The guy that started the song sitting in the car was Baekhyun...the "Candy" song you reacted too already! These songs are all older....but great ones!

To understand the story in EXO's "Ko Ko Bop" MV, you have to keep in mind that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" is connected to the story in their "Lucky One." MV. "Ko Ko Bop" may look trippy and crazy, but if you understand EXO's storyline you will see that everything was done for a specific reason. I can see how people might think that Ko Ko Bop is a drug they are all taking and that is why they are acting like they are high and kind of in a loopy drugged-like state. But to really understand what is happening in "Ko Ko Bop," you have to understand what is happening in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Lucky One" EXO has been captured by the Red Force who is doing experiments on EXO to try and figure out what makes them special, and to find a way to prevent them from finding and protecting the Tree of Life, etc. The members all use their powers to escape from the government facility and this is where theories say that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" picks up right after they have escaped in "Lucky One". The blue Ko Ko Bop drink that Suho mixes and the members drink, and the pills or wafers you see them eating, is supposed to be an elixir that is helping the members to detox from the drugs the Red Force gave them when they were being held against their will in the government facility in the "Lucky One" MV. The Red Force is represented by red light and red objects. Any time you see red that has something to do with the Red Force. Blue is thought to represent EXO. When you see purple these are instances where the line between the Red Force and EXO is blurred and the two sides are fighting for control, etc. -- red and blue mixed together makes purple. If you want to see the choreography better you are going to have to watch a comeback stage performance of "Ko Ko Bop." So in "Ko Ko Bop" you see Kai with the power of teleportation using his power to levitate and Suho with the power to control water jumps into the water and disappears, and later appears inside the washing machine, etc. You see Chen with the power of thunder/lightning/electricity playing with his power and you see Baekhyun use his power of light as he throws the ball in the air and creates that huge flash of light and Chanyeol uses his power of fire to create the fireworks when he bounces the ball into the sky. D.O. accidentally uses his power of strength/force and splits open the ground when he falls down, etc. Xiumin has the power of snow/ice/frost so he is using his power to create a cloud to fill the glass. Sehun uses his power to control wind to make objects float in the air. And, the car looks like it's driving by itself because they are using their powers to control the car, etc. Their unbridled use of their powers and the haphazard way they play with their environment around them can be explained by the fact that they were drugged in "Lucky One" and while they are still dealing with the drugs in their system, in "Ko Ko Bop" their inhibitions are lowered and they use their powers without caution. So part of their story goes: The members were trapped in the maze by the Red Force in "Overdose" and while they were trapped they were captured and moved to the government facility in "Lucky One" and after escaping in "Lucky One" we see them detoxing in "Ko Ko Bop." However, since then, we now have "Obsession's" part of the story where we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO clones. So some theories now think that instead of "Ko Ko Bop" being about the EXO members, it might be showing us X-EXO. If you remember in "Obsession," the members in the bright colors with the crazy hair and makeup were the X-EXO clones and the members in the all black outfits were EXO. So now some theories think that maybe because "Ko Ko Bop" is so colorful, that it is showing us X-EXO right after they were brought to life, and this is their first time out in the world. So X-EXO are playing with their powers and trying to figure out how they work, and they are getting acclimated to their environment, etc. Everything EXO does has something to do with their storyline and their origin story including every single one of their MVs, most of their sub-unit MVs, solo MVs, live performances and choreography, as well as teaser videos and concert VCRs. Nothing is random or done without a specific purpose and meaning and it's our job as fans to piece it all together. But, as you can see, to make it even more difficult to follow, nothing is in chronological order. We have to become detectives and analyze everything that EXO does in order to try and figure out where each pace fits within the larger storyline. However, at this point it's only theories and educated guesses. With every new release from EXO it adds another piece to their story. Sometimes that new piece helps to confirm what we thought was happening and other times it turns everything on its head and we realize that what we thought was happening wasn't even close. We can only hope that someday SM will finally explain everything, so we will know whether what we have been thinking all along is correct. To refresh your memory and to help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances, here is a list of the members and what their special power is. EXO-K 💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeon) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. Im glad you guys liked it and fun fact about kokobop is it was originally meant for RED VELVET the demo was sang by Shaylen and she posted the demo version last year during kokobop s 3rd year anniversary...and this was such a bop that they had to close every award shows in 2017 year alone from beginning to the end of the year with KOKOBOP and people all around the world were also doing the KOKOBOP CHALLENGE even non kpop fans :) Kokobop also got soo much hate at the same time because "haters" were saying its culturally wrong for Kai to have dreads he is disrespecting reggae but to me its CULTURAL APPRECIATION when it comes to KOKOBOP, i mean they even got BOB MARLEY's picture at one of their stage performance :)

I found you guys after your reaction to Film:Kai and I got hooked. I got into kpop last year and I liked watching a lot of reaction videos, but your videos have a refreshing take on it. I liked how you commented about how different SM groups are. With the little that I know about kpop, I think they were the pioneers of the whole idol groups system and they’re still leading the trends to create such fun and unique concepts. I think you can really see it with EXO and how totally different each comeback is. They’re such a versatile group that they can do any genre of music. But I personally think they do r&b the best. KoKoBop is such an iconic song.. no one really mixed up reggae and electronic in kpop before they did and this was almost 4 yes ago.. the other songs from this album blow too. Specifically Eve and Sweet Lies which are my personal favs and are heavy on RnB. Eve has an iconic dance practice that has more views than some kpop MVs and Sweet Lies has a live stage version that is AMAZING . And if you want a really fun upbeat no. u cant go wrong with Power .. I think Power is one of their MOST creative MVs too and the song always brings a smile on my face

EXO looked so good in this video, especially KAI with his beautiful sun kissed tan skin tone. Kai was incredibly gorgeous with that white outfit on, in that first dance sequence. YES.... LOL.... I don't know whether u guys catch it or not but almost all SM MV and lyrics are related to each other. There is a story line for each group and also for the whole SMTown groups. The brain storming process for making SM's song (lyrics wise) and MV is not easy because every upcoming release should connected to the previous release, especially for EXO, NCT and Aespa. So if you a part of the production team, you didn't just thinking about that one song, you need to understand the concept of the group and their story line to connect the dots. Btw, so much symbol in Kokobop MV. This whole MV is about them playing around with their powers (their concept). Thanks for reacting.

Love your channel! I have watched all your videos and I noticed there is one area of K-pop you haven’t really experienced yet and that is ballads. If you want to learn some of the individual voices of EXO I recommend checking out: “Beautiful Goodbye” by Chen “On the Road to You” by Baekhyun “That’s Okay” (live studio version that was just released this week) by D.O All of EXO are top vocalists, but these three are the ones you are always noticing. “On The Road” doesn’t have a music video but there are color coded lyric videos you can react to. Here are some unusual hidden gems that few people react to: A surprisingly excellent lyric video by RM (from BTS) called “Seoul”. I recommend this for the song production and simple but visually stunning video. It’s one of the few solo projects from a BTS member that is featured on their official channel. Most of their side projects are only available on SoundCloud. And it’s extremely underrated. “Lilili Yabbay” by Seventeen’s 4-member performance sub-unit. Quirky, creative and visually unique. The third hidden gem is by G-Dragon called “MichiGo”. Honestly I have no idea why this video gets overlooked. It’s so wild and weird and the song is super catchy. Another area you might want to explore is “dance practice” videos. Most of the live performances will get copyright strikes. The way around that is dance practice videos. You can react to a song’s stage choreography, which is often far more complex than what you see in music videos. They will blow your mind. The group Seventeen and Taemin (member of SHINee, SuperM and a solo artist) are in a league of their own when it comes to stage performance. Really, you could pick anything from either of those artists. But I will recommend “Don’t Wanna Cry” by SVT and “Move” by Taemin. I look forward to everything you do.
