I love Baekhyun's fancam in this song (the one with the pink pants) he admitted in an interview once that Love Me Right is one of the songs that he gets excited to perform with that's why he gets carried away while performing it. As for the storyline for the MV, this is them in the parallel universe but they are just normal human beings and football players with no superpowers.

This MV was released when the last Ex- member left the group so there were many many theories of this music video One I had heard a lot was: It’s was about Rugby boys winning a goal with 9 members saying 9 members are still the champion and kind of confirm EXO now will be working as 9 members And also each member will have there own project like solo, sub-unit group and acting but at the end WE ARE ONE as you can see in the MV they are in different places and challenging new thing That was what many EXO-L back then say about the MV

FUCKING FINALLY LOVE ME RIGHT! I have the chills every single time. This is my ALL TIME favourite song ever! It is a masterpiece to my ears, that instrumental with the electric guitar, the trumpets, the bass, the funky groove... I can't explain what it does to me. This was my second Exo comeback and I'm telling you Call Me Baby/ Love Me Right era was untouchable and immaculate. Wish they'd go back to it. By the way, the MV storyline is a bit complicate. The most popular theory wants it to be an Alice in Wonderland with parallel universe concept: Chanyeol and Sehun are the twins, D.O. is Alice ( he walks through doors and such), Xiumin is probably the Mad Hatter, Baekhyun is the Cheshire cat (this is what I can remember but could be wrong abt the roles). For the football thing, i honestly don't know but i believe it has something to do with their bad clones/alter egos and how there is this sort of fight between them. In other MVs when lights are blue it's normal Exo, when red it's x-Exo. In love me right the majority is purple which makes me believe that the two counterparts are somehow one in those scene. At the end, tho, we see the group leaving victorious but it's all black and white, which makes me believe Exo might have won this match against their counterpart. Not sure. Love Me Right must be also very important for their storyline, as in Power MV we have the instrumental for this at a specific moment. You'll see. But before diving into Exo theories, wait. You'll get more of that when you watch Power but honestly, most of us have no idea what's going on most of the time lol jsyk the Electric Kiss MV is not the full song. This also happened with Light Saber, but both are DEFINITELY worth checking out - would highly recommend checking out the Light Saber Exordium in Japan performance, too, they really went all out on it.

One theory is that "Love Me Right" is showing the members in all different dimensions or time periods throughout history, so that is why you see EXO in so many different scenes in this MV. As aliens from Planet Exo, it is thought that the members of EXO are able to travel throughout history and time and space in their quest to reunite as a group and to find the Tree of Life. So, each scene you see is thought to be in a different location or time period -- or possibly, part of a dream-like existence, created by the Red Force to trap the members within the maze, like we see in their "Overdose" MV. (So if EXO are still trapped in the maze, some of the scenes are also thought to be them fighting to break free from the fog that the Red Force has them in and escape, etc.) Some say "Love Me Right" establishes how EXO are traveling through history looking for the Red Force and trying to fix all the problems that the Red Force has caused, while they search for the Tree of Life. That is why we see them in so many different scenes in the MV and why each scene looks like it is from a different time period. You see the red light because, as with everything EXO does, red represents the Red Force. So some theories are that the scenes with the red light are scenes where the Red Force has control, and the scenes where you see the blue light are when EXO has the upperhand. And the scenes where you see the purple colors are times when the line is blurred and EXO and the Red Force are crossing paths -- red and blue mixed together make purple. Also since we now have more information about X-EXO, which are EXO's alter ego clones, who were introduced in EXO's "Obsession" MV, some new theories are starting to suggest that maybe the red scenes are actually the X-EXO clones and the blue scenes are the EXO members. And, although the smoke looks pink, I think we are supposed to recognize it as red smoke, which is another indication that whatever is causing the smoke has something to do with the Red Force. Some theories even think that scene might be connected to EXO's "Lucky One" MV storyline. In "Lucky One" we see the Red Force experimenting on EXO and, in the EXO-M version, Xiumin is trapped in a box filled with smoke or fog. In "Love Me Right" we see Xiumin doing some sort of experiment in the room with the red smoke. At one point you see Xiumin mixing some sort of purple liquid and, although I am not sure what he is making or why, some theories speculate that that potion is created from flowers. And flowers are a central theme in almost all of EXO's MVs. You see Xiumin mixing a similar liquid with flowers in EXO-CBX's "Blooming Day" MV. Also, because this liquid is purple, I think it could potentially be some sort of potion that will help the EXO members break the spell the Red Force has over them or it will help to identify who are the real EXO members and who are the evil X-EXO alter ego clones in disguise, etc. The smashed TV is also thought to be connected to EXO's "Coming Over" MV storyline. In "Coming Over" you see EXO smashing TVs, mirrors, and surveillance cameras, in what is thought to be an attempt at stopping and preventing the Red Force from controlling humanity. And in EXO-CBX's MV for "Hey Mama" you will see that the CBX members have now infiltrated a TV news studio and they are working to stop the Red Force from controlling the news anchors and corrupting society by controlling the flow of news, etc. Some have pointed out that the smashed TVs look like running water. Water is Suho's superpower and fire is Chanyeol's power. And you see Suho and Chanyeol in that scene. So, Suho and Chanyeol are most likely involved with whatever is happening in this scene. The scene where you see Baekhyun laying on the train tracks could possibly be connected to the storyline in EXO-CBX's "Horololo" MV where we see Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin searching the train tracks for clues. (It also now could be connected to SuperM's storyline in their "100" MV, SHINee Key's solo debut "One of Those Nights" MV, aespa's "Black Mamba" storyline, SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV storyline, Kai's solo debut storyline, and Baekhyun's "Bambi" MV storyline, etc. as part of the SM Culture Universe storyline that connects everything SM does together.) And the scene where you see Xiumin laying on the ground, almost as if he is passed out, in the middle of the forest looks as though it is connected to Suho's "Call Me Baby" pathcode teaser video storyline, as well as the scenes with Suho in the forest in EXO's "For Life" MV. To really understand what might be going on in this MV you pretty much have to pause the MV at every scene and really analyze what is happening in each frame. And, although I have watched this MV numerous times, because it is so complex, I still have no idea what most of the MV is trying to tell us. Although I am not sure what the marbles mean, I know they are somehow connected to EXO's "Call Me Baby" pathcode teaser videos -- and more specifically D.O.'s teaser -- where we see D.O. with marbles, and SM specifically points out that we need to pay attention to the marbles to solve the riddle. And we see a newer reference to the mables in EXO's most recent MV for "Don't Fight the Feeling." As you can see, everything EXO does is connected to their concept and storyline and it's all about the fact that they are fighting the Red Force and searching for the Tree of Life. And because EXO are trying to undo everything and stop the Red Force from corrupting humanity, the Red Force is always standing in EXO's way, trying to stop them from accomplishing their tasks and prevent them from reuniting the two halves of the Tree of LIfe in order to prevent peace from being restored in the world. And the story continues in every MV. But what makes their storyline even more complicated is that nothing is in chronological order, so you really have to pay attention to even the most minute of details to figure out where each MV or each scene within an MV might fit within EXO's larger storyline. And the storyline even continues with the choreography. If you watch their dance practice video you may notice, there are several dance moves where it could be interpreted as some of the members using their powers. For example, D.O. waves his arms and the rest of the membres are pulled toward him or pushes away from him. D.O. has the power of earth/force which gives him strength. I also see the gliding movements representing how the members are traveling across time and place as they fight to regain control from the Red Force, etc. "Love Me Right" was released in June 2015 -- Kris and Luhan left the group in 2014 and Tao left around April 2015 -- so this was the first MV where there are 9 members. From now on, if you are going in order of release date, you will see 9, 8 or 6 members depending on how recent the MV is.

MV EXPLAINED It is based off Alice In The Wonderland. Lay is the white rabbit. This can be seen from the clock drawn on his hand. Remember the rabbit running with a pocket clock in AIW? yep, me too. Next, Baekhyun is the caterpillar. Baekhyun in the first picture, is surrounded by books and has a green scarf around his neck.and in the second one, he is in a misty green room, sitting on a leather chair - very similar to the green caterpillar sitting on his mushroom, smoking. Next, D.O. Our kyungsoo is Alice! D.O is seen wandering around doors like Alice during her eat me drink me scene. Xiumin and Chen are our twins! They were the ones that actually reminded me of this concept due to their visual sets - which I loved, and their forest and log scene. ps, Xiuchen feels are real Xiumin plays double roles . Since we are on the topic of Xiumin, he plays the mad hatter! In the tea party scene where the mad hatter sits in front of a platter of cups and pastries, Xiumin takes up this role in Love Me Right. Next! Chanyeol! Our beloved Chanyeollie plays the cheshire cat in his cavern of purple with Sehun. Clad in a purple checkered jacket and crazy light hair, he looks really similar to the fluffy cat in the movie. Even more so, there is a “eat me, drink me” neon sign in the background if you were fast enough to catch that! Next is Kai! Our sexy dancing maknae plays the red queen! His red hair is one major hint, another can be seen when he plays croquet with the glass bottle towards the end :D Lastly, for Suho and Sehun, I’m not exactly sure what characters they play, but for me, I think that Sehun is the card soldier. Lastly! The leader! Suho, in my opinion, may be Alice’s older sister! Seeing that he’s the leader, it’s more natural for him to play a elder or more authoritative figure, like Alice’s sister!
