Others may execute the same steps during the dance cover but they don't have the same aura that EXO exudes.

I'm exol, but I listen to all K-pop groups, even with these years, I haven't found a group whose members all have perfect voices except for EXO, it's the truth, all of them without exception even rappers can sing

EXO is the perfect example of what a true talent pool is, every member has their own flavor separately but when all together they are a vocal phenom that no one will never be able to replicate. SM has cornered the market on creating this blend, they are now carrying this forward with NCT, if you pay close attention , they (NCT) have picked up the baton from EXO and will and are doing extremely well in keeping Lee Soo Man's original vision alive. EXO has established themselves as THE standard and I don't see any other group ever fully replacing their legacy.

EXO’s winter albums (there are four) were a “gift” to the fans. Miracles in December started the trend in 2013, followed by Sing For You in 2015, For Life in 2016 and Universe in 2017- each title track had its own MV. They’re not really “Christmas” albums (even songs with Christmas in the title aren’t typical) but they are all loved.

This group has the best vocals, the best hight note, and visuals. They have everything. This is true and it's not an exaggeration.

EXO with those suspenders, they literally said Christmas but make it sexy. Lol The vocals in Miracles in December literally give me goosebumps still after listening to it at least 50 times.

First Snow of EXO became Korea's first fall of snow anthem. It's being played everytime the d snow falls in there... EXO truly release timeless songs.

That's how we are at every EXO concert lmao 😭 we throw things, mostly are toys and at the end of the concert before the encore, they'll gonna pick some toys up and play with them. They sometimes bring them home. We love the fact that they're all having fun with the toys fans are throwing on the stage. Their reaction when they see something they like is PRICELESS 😭 It also became our way of gifting them since as an international fan, it's really difficult for us to send them gifts tho it is possible when we reach out to the company but it will take too looong to process and it's a hassle. So fans usually throw things that we know they like to gain their attention or something fun that we really want them to see like a customized pillow with a member's funny face on it 😆 it's honestly one of the best parts of EXO concerts since it's also the part where they're interacting with fans more. I haven't been to other kpop groups' concerts so idk if this is really a thing but throwing toys on stage is something we, EXO Ls are always expecting and it's part of the preparation we also do before the concert. We have to think carefully what will gain our biases' attentions 😆 I can tell that EXO members are always looking forward to it too! 😊

"Miracles In December" actually features the 4 main vocalists in EXO. If you haven't yet, you should check out the Mandarin version as well. If you have never heard the Mandarin version, then you are missing out on hearing Luhan's beautiful voice also. :D In the EXO-M version of "Miracles in December" you will see that Luhan sings instead of D.O. Luhan was one of the main vocalist in EXO-M. Chen and Luhan are both EXO-M members so they sang the Mandarin songs, and to round out the vocals Baekhyun subbed in as an EXO-M member. :D You should check out the Chinese version to hear how beautiful it also is in Mandarin. In the Korean version you see D.O., Baekhyun and Chen as the singers because they are EXO's main vocalists and they are all native Korean -- even though Chen is a member of EXO-M. To create the perfect melody SM decided they needed all three of them to create the right blend of their voices and harmonies. In the EXO-M version, they put Luhan in the mix because, as the only native Chinese one of the four of them, it would be pretty weird if they didn't use the main vocalist from the Mandarin sub-unit in that version of the song. Plus, Luhan is the only one of the three that speaks fluent Mandarin. (Similar to EXO's "What Is Love" song and MV.) "Miracles in December" is part of EXO's winter comeback releases, so, as you heard, it's a ballad. EXO's winter albums are always their ballad albums. Up until the last couple of years EXO used to come out with 3 to 4 albums a year -- a summer album that was more of their mainstream hype songs and a repackaged album a few weeks later, and then, in the winter, they would release another album that was more of a holiday album and it was all slower ballad songs. But the last few years EXO's first comeback of the year hasn't been until the end of the year -- for example, Don't Mess Up My Tempo was released in November 2018 and the Obsession album didn't come out until November 2019. So, I guess, because the first album and repackage were released so late in the year, SM decided that releasing a winter holiday album would just be too soon after the other album. So we haven't gotten a new winter album for several years now. Which I think is a shame because EXO's ballads are really beautiful and I enjoy them almost more than their other songs. If you notice, Xiumin was the one that made it snow. Xiumin has the power to control ice/frost/snow, so anytime something has to do with these weather elements they will focus on him. In the MV you see Xiumin in the red sweater and the black vest with the lapel pin that is shaped like EXO's logo. He steps outside and looks up at the sky and at that moment his pin shimmers and it begins to snow. It is thought that the members' powers are tied to their emotions, so when Xiumin is sad or melancholy, he almost can't help it, and he will make it snow. And as you also may have noticed, Tao is the one that turned back time and then instantly brought time back to the present again, because he has the power to control time. The snow was falling in reverse at one point because Tao was rewinding time. Then you see everything pause for a second and the snow starts falling down again when he brings everything back to the present. You also saw during this MV that there was an eclipse. Eclipses affect the members powers and it is also where they gather strength, etc. This even happens in live performances. You will see instances of them using their powers to control things that happen on stage during live concert performances. Suho makes it rain on stage, Xiumin will make it snow, Chanyeol will control fire, Chen will control the thunder and lightning, Baekhyun often makes the lights go on and off, etc. If you keep this all in mind when you watch any of their MVs or live performances, it's kind of fun to search for the instances where they are using their powers. In some MVs and songs the members use their powers more than others, but at least one member will use their powers in almost everything they do, it just might be more subtle sometimes than others. So this is just another element of EXO's performances that make watching them unique. "Miracles in December" is a kind of breakup song that is about how the holidays makes you nostalgic for that loved one that you are no longer with. It makes you remember all the good times and makes you wish you were together even though you know, deep down, you are better off now that you have broken up. All the gifts are supposed to be what they would have given to their girlfriends if they hadn't broken up before the holidays. "She" was a different girl for each of the members, and "she" was not meeting any of them, she was a memory of a past relationship that was no more. That's why Tao turns back time for a moment to relive being in the relationship, but then quickly returns to the present because he knows, deep down, he is better off and that you really can't go back in time and expect to fix everything in the relationship. That's why they are all sad and crying because they are heartbroken. I like to think, for example, that the puppy was probably going to be a present for Kai's girlfriend, but now that they have broken up, it just reminds him of her. it's kind of a bittersweet memory. :D The "miracle" is that the girl had such a profound impact on their life that, even though they aren't together anymore, she will always play a big role in his life history, etc. The "miracle" is that the holidays give you a reason to look back and reflect on those special moments in life, and even though the memories might make them sad because they are no longer able to make new memories together, the old memories are still there. And the "miracle" is that he has now realized she has taught him so much about love and life, but unfortunately, he has realized it too late and he can't go back, so he is sad. He's now upset because he is unable to show her the appreciation she deserves, etc., etc. If you look up the English translation of the lyrics you will discover that knowing what the lyrics are about gives you a different perspective on the song.

EXO has several "Winter" albums. Some people call them Christmas albums but they're more accurately winter albums even though some mention Christmas. They're mini-albums and contain mostly beautiful ballads that kind of have a winter feel to them. You should listen to them since it's the holiday season. Most people who don't like "Christmas" songs love EXO's winter albums. A lot of the songs are bittersweet. It's funny because if you read the lyrics, some of the most cheerful sounding songs have the sadder, melancholy lyrics and vice versa. I believe portions of their winter album sales used to be donated to charities. Definitely listen to the non-title tracks on these albums because you'll be pleasantly surprised. EXO does winter/Christmas with an R&B feel. I don't think there are too many k-pop artists who do Christmas R&B, sexy-style. I'm sure they'll be added to your holiday playlist. LOL The song "First Snow" is VERY popular in Korea, even now. Even though the song is over 7 years old, the song trends every year with the first snowfall in Korea. When EXO performed Miracles in December in SBS Gayo back in 2018 it gave the Kpop fans goosebumps as it was sang again on stage after so many years. There were two versions of it the live and the pre recorded one... Tho they don't need to sing it live because the show already played the pre recorded video on screen they still went up on stage and sang it live. Also on the pre recorded one, Chanyeol was d one who played the piano.

i think exo hits different because they look so effortless and comfortable on stage~ they do so much and it is obviously everything they do is at an incredible level if perfection but to the people watching it all looks sooooo effortless and this goes for all the members.
