EXO actually have a concept that they are from EXO planet(EXO means outer) a planet out of our solar system(first group to have a concept with a parallel universe)each member has his own superpowers and they are chased by the Red Force All their MVs(not lyrics)are connected and have to do with this concept but its too complicated,there are many theory videos on yt about it its very interesting
Maybe when you invest time on their concept you'll understand what's happening in the MV😅 Exo has a story line since their debut that they've never let go until today. Everything is related to the concept. As an Exol since 2014 , my head still hurts when I try to crack the codes on the MVs that connects to the storyline 😩❣️

You asked about the members so that's what I'm putting in this comment as I honestly don't even know where to begin with other information about the group and members. Probably most importantly is that they debuted in 2012, used to have 12 members, and were split into two subunits: EXO-K and EXO-M. They did the same songs but EXO-K did them in Korean and EXO-M did them in Mandarin. Xiumin, Lay, and Chen are the remaining members who were in EXO-M, which is why Xiumin's and Chen's stage names are Chinese names. The 3 members who left EXO were Chinese members. Kris left in 2014, Luhan left soon afterwards also in 2014, and Tao left in 2015. So there are MVs that vary in terms of the members because of the 3 original members leaving, Lay being unable to participate for a number of years, and now more recently with members enlisting. I guess I'll also add that they are known as Vocal Kings, they have an overall concept that they are EXO from EXOPLANET and have superpowers, and as I put in the notes about the individual members many of them have official solo work, are a part of subunits, and the others who have yet to have a solo debut still have unofficial solo work with OSTs and STATION tracks. STATION is a thing SM does where their artists collaborate with artists from other companies and globally- though, it's been a while since SM has released a STATION song. And Baekhyun and Kai are part of SuperM, which is SMs super group or as they like to call them: The Avengers of Kpop- because the group is made up of idols who are already members of groups under SM. Along with Baekhyun and Kai, there's also Taemin from SHINee, Taeyong and Mark from NCT, and Ten and Lucas from WayV who make up the full 7 members of SuperM. UMMM, I think that's it now, haha!
