I'm sorry but as soon as you said "fakeRM" I stopped watching. I like both BTS and EXO (and manny other groups) and i think one should respect every group and their fandom even if you dont know or like them. I don't know you and I don't want to criticize you but please think before you say something. Well, Thank you for reacting anyway.

That guy who “messed up” is named Chen. He is widely respected by many people, and respectively one of the best vocalists in Kpop. I want to explain the whole “arching his back and not doing the choreo” thing: it’s actually quite common in Kpop choreography to have the person who is doing the high note to remain immobile for the most stable execution of their high note. It provides for a better performance by ensuring comfortable and unstrained vocal chords. Once you delve into seeing more and more choreographies by other groups, you’ll soon see that this is quite normal. Chen has also revealed that he is engaged and will be a father soon! I would’ve appreciated a less comparative reaction, but hey, it’s your channel right? I won’t control what you do with it :) Some songs I recommend: “Love Shot” “Sweet Lies” (A B-side) “Obsession” “Universe” “Tempo” “Promise” EXO is a more vocal-based group, so I think it’s nice that you can branch out and hear a new sound. Looking forward to you reacting to these talented men🙂

Honestly I’m really disappointed. They work just hard as bts do and literally stop comparing, go into it with an open mind. Chen messed up so what! This is a performance video not the music video. And Chanyeol is not a fake RM he is his own rapper and Chanyeol and sehun have chemistry lol. I like yalls reactions but this was a bit much, there was no need at all to compare them to bts that much and bash some of the members.

I know I'm kinda late, and I don't know if you're even gonna see or read all of this, but I really wanted to comment anyway, as someone who has been both an army and exo-l for years (and also as a subscriber). I really appreciate you guys wanting to explore more kpop, because it's such a big industry that it would be a pity not to - of course at the end of the day everyone has the right to do whatever they want. First of all, I saw this reaction coming, and that is because in some of your latest bts reactions the guy on the left - I don't know his name, I'm sorry - kept throwing comments like "this is what exo should do" and I have to admit I did not like it. I think fans don't really have a problem with comparison as long as it is a "oh, this reminds me of-" kind of comparison and not a "oh , group y is so much better than group x" or "group y should step up to group x's level" one. This is mainly because every single kpop group has worked their asses off and has made many sacrifices in order to be where they are. and every group deserves what they have accomplished. Of course, I get that bts is everything you know, but every time you make a "negative" comparison you're belittling the work these idols put in. Also, it's not really fair to judge exo from one video alone. You don't know anything about them so why talk like you do? They're talking as if exo is a new group which is pretty ironic considering they are bts's seniors, and pretty disrespectful because, as other people said, exo is one of the most respected groups in the industry and they achieved so many things, broke so many records. The only problem they have is their own company literally going against them for whatever reason. SM - the company - likes to feed off of exo's success without actually putting in the work to properly promote them. Another thing is, every single kpop group has assigned roles for each member: you're gonna have vocalists, dancers and rappers. Just like the majority of bts were not dancers, so is the case with exo. You can't pick on Chen for making a mistake when his role is main vocalist. That would be like going off on RM: it isn't fair because he is the main rapper, not main dancer. Plus, they're humans. They're bound to make mistakes as much as the next person. "Bts don't make mistakes", well that's a big fat lie. The members themselves joked about how whenever they mess up their eyes go to J-Hope. They wouldn't be humans if they always did everything correctly, so that comment was unnecessary. "If you didn't catch the mistake you don't care enough", what does that even mean. Are we supposed to also go in the Danger comment section and talk about how Jin was too fast making that one move in the pre-chorus? I think not. First of all, because it would be dumb, and second of all because we all know how hard he works, and we should hype him up, not bring him down because he messed up one time. The "fake RM" comment was just plain rude and also unnecessary, but you do you. bts are not the only group with rappers so I really don't see the point in this. It doesn't matter if they only reacted to bts and bp, that's not a comparison nor "constructive criticism". This reaction really came out during an iffy time for us, if I'm being honest, because since Chen announced that he's getting married and has a child on the way, we've been fighting against delusional fans that are trying to kick him out of the group, just because he wants to make a family - make it make sense. so you have to understand that the "criticism" being heavily directed his way is, of course, gonna anger many fans. Plus, the high note bit really showed how you had no clue what you were talking about and yet, instead of asking questions, you just assumed he did something wrong and ripped him apart. that's just not the way to go. Ignore the immature fans that do take things overboard, but if you do take constructive criticism, I really hope that if you react to them again, you're gonna be more open-minded and realize that if you yourselves admit that you're not kpop fans, you should then refrain from talking like you're some experts on the matter. I don't think you're in the position to give advice to the group that revived the physical market by selling one million albums for the first time in 12 years and who sold out their concert in 0.2 seconds, saying "they have potential", like c'mon. I really do not mean to be rude or anything, and I hope I didn't come off as that, but in my opinion this could've been done a lot better, and not knowing anything about a group is not really an excuse for some of the things that were said. I’m an army and casually listen to EXO... but like, EXO is BTS’ senior group, this seemed to be a performance MV and not the regular MV (because I know the regular MV had a storyline and the shots were dope), and EXO is primarily a vocal group not a dance group. This just wasn’t a good call, not because of the criticism, but because the ARMY and EXO-L’s seriously hate each other. I understand that they’re comparing because BTS is all they know, but I’m just afraid y’all are going to seriously be attacked because of the fan-wars. Oh, and also 7-9 is the average number for a Kpop boy group. Girl groups have even more members. There are also boy groups like Seventeen which have 13 members and NCT which have 21 members (currently... NCT may get more members in the future).

They may not be famous in your town. But in Asia, especially China, with the most populations, they are number 1 . But China can't play RU-vid like we do, so their views are small. But EXO's views on the Chinese website are over a billions of views.

EXO are known as the Nation’s Pick in Korea, even the president of Korea, Moon Jaein, personally selects and takes them to diplomatic events whenever he can because EXO are so loved both as a group and solo artists, in Korea and China especially. Can you really call Chanyeol, EXO’s main rapper, “fake rap monster” when EXO debuted before BTS? The outfits are mean to fit the dark, grungy vibe of the video, they’re not just going to wear what’s trendy, they’re going to wear what suits Monster. On the other hand, their own individual fashion is so acknowledged that most of them are global ambassadors and muses for several luxury brands, such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Prada, Tommy Hilfiger, Miu Miu, Berluti, and the list goes on. EXO members have not been repeatedly voted by their fellow Korean idols as the best dancers and vocalists in the industry for years for the two of you to slander them because you want attention.

Dude you living under a rock. EXO is the richest Kpop group at about $1B networth as of 2019. Their latest title track Obsession released in late November voted best KPop song of 2019 by Billboard critics, not fans. They performed at the Winter Olympics in SK in 2018. They are current Tourism Ambassadors of SK, and the only KPop group todate that has a government commemorative medal to their name. They were the Kpop representative when Trump visited SK in June. Kai, the center, voted best dancer 3 years in a row by idols, not fans. Baekhyun, their main vocal, smashed SK chart history with over 550K sales for his debut album (cha cha malone, darkchild, etc worked on it). Chanyeol and Lay have their own music studio. I could go on and on with members individual talents and achievements but it's gonna be wayyy to long. EXO is good dish for many western composers simply because they can sing any genre. A composer said they are like Clark Kent that transforms into Superman when they perform. Their lives are better than recorded audio. But most of all, very humble human beings. So yeah, they are legends. Sadly, they don't promote in the west, just in 7 countries in Asia. Not even China, where they are the most well known Kpop artists. So yeah, EXO are real legends. I respect your opinion on some things but I also disagree EXO doesn't need to change a thing about them everything they do is what got them to the top. If you want to see more dancing groups since Exo is mainly a vocal group I recommend Seventeen they are known as Kings Of Synchronization. I get how he is saying how one of the members messed up the choreography and how they were no longer in sync and they have to fix that to be better, but you have to understand they do retake the scenes over and over again so they can get the best results, but at the end of the day it is the edited of the video that puts these clips together. They could have done those scenes multiple times and perfected it, but if the mv editor ended up putting a clip where there is a mistake then there is nothing they can do anymore. EXO could have did this choreography perfect so many times and only made that mistake once, but if they put in a clip with a mistake we wouldn’t know. It’s similar to movies like there are so many takes they do so at the ends of the day they can choose the best ones for the final product, but even then people can mistake when editing the video and miss something.

Okay, i don't usually get pissed off about opinion. But first of all, it's too much "comparing", Second if it's Live Performance the winner is EXO. Yeah you heard me right. Everything they point out about performance exo have it more. Third, they didn't pay attention to the vocals but critisized it. The reason the person standing there is the choreo need to adjust him when he hits those notes. Again pay attention. To understand how amazing their vocal is you need to learn vocal technique, runs, adlibs, riffs, range, falseto and so on. This isn’t the official music video. You watched the performance video. Performance videos are aren’t as clean as the official music videos which is why there were camera cuts and stuff. Also it’s one thing to compare groups.. it’s a completely different thing to call someone a “fake RM” it’s not only disrespectful, but very wrong because they’re styles of rap are different..i could call RM a fake Zico but that also wouldn’t make any sense. Every K-pop group has a designated rapper. It’s always been apart of K-pop from when it started in the 90s and it always will. BTS isn’t the be all and end all. Different groups have different styles of music, dance, and rap.

Another amazing group that I HIGHLY suggest you check out is Seventeen. The song and mv that got me to be a fan was "Getting Closer". These dudes synchronization is uncomparable. Check out their "Very Nice" and "Hit" dance practice. You will not regret it.

To say that in EXO someone is better and someone is worse is simply IMPOSSIBLE because absolutely every participant is unrealistically talented, this is literally an IDEAL GROUP. Every EXO group and solo album is on a completely different level to this day, even after 10 years of career. I am absolutely not afraid to say that EXO is a real K-POP, now there are countless groups in the fourth generation, but they absolutely do not stand out in any way, trying to focus more and more on the West and POP music, thereby becoming monotonous and disposable. EXO is the only band in the entire K-POP industry, by the way, to this day where literally every member sings amazingly, including rappers and dancers. Minute popularity does not determine the talent and legendarity of the artist, because even after 10 years of his career, EXO songs are literally sung by the whole of Asia, because EXO is the real K-POP. I will never stop admiring this amazing band, even if 40 years pass, let a billion more bands like bts be released, they will never surpass EXO because their music is timeless, this is what defines the legendary artist.

EXO are insanely respected group and even BTS used to look up to them. They are known as the vocal kings of kpop. And the main dancer Kai has been choosen as the best kpop dancer three years in a row by other kpop artists themselves.

Why do you guys care so much if they compare groups? Like I really don't get it! Just because you compare doesn't mean one is better than the other especially if they have different styles. They are just pointing out what they like more from one group than the other, but it doesn't mean that group is bad by any means. It's like if you compare a cat to a dog they have some similarities but are still different. You find the things you like in both than compare to see what you like more (fits more your style). This is the group that broke a 12 year old drought in sales and maintained their popularity after 8 years. They still in y'all's and the worl'ds mind without stepping foot out of Asia. They have 2 guiness world records. EXO is the largest kpop group in Asia, the title given to them as "Kings of Kpop" was not given of garnish, they're the Nation's Pick. It was the only kpop group to perform at the last Winter Olympics in Korea. Research the groups achievements before disrespecting their work. "Fake RM" I have to laugh.

now, just by watching this reaction, I KNOW the comments are gonna be flooded with angry exo-ls (exo's fandom). BTS is my ultimate group but I do like A LOT of other groups. Exo being one of them. I've scrolled through the comments of this video and...people can be really judge mental. smh. If I was in their position, where i literally ONLY knew BTS, I would be so biased towards BTS...like what did you expect?? Now, while I didnt agree with EVERYTHING they said, I totally get WHY they would think a certain way. Some comments made were...out of context. I felt they were being somewhat disrespectful towards them. Exo debuted in 2012 and while they did debut in SM (apart of the big 3 companies), they still had a lot of hardships (just like any other group would). I think they should not have said certain things about the members when they know literally NOTHING about them. Now, I'm not an exo-l, but I am a fan of theirs. And I would like if you showed them more of exo. They have really great dance practices, live performances, music videos, and variety shows. They are known for their AMAZING voices. Just search up their best live vocals and you'll understand why. Good dance practices to watch would be •blooming day (exo-cbx [which is a 'subunit' of exo] Only 3 members. The ones in white) •the eve •monster •obsession (their newest song) There are soooo many more, but these are my favorite Maybe in the future after they have learned about their strong points, like singing and performance, you can show them more of the members. Bruh I could've sworn they use to make fun of BTS when she first had them react to the group. Come on now, they're just giving fake reactions for the views. I've seen them holding back laughter when reacting to their more serious songs or live performances. And if that's not enough for ya, they talk through every reaction video they make to bts. Then to sit here and compare both groups when they know nothing about EXO, shoot they barely just started learning about BTS. Do they even know what BTS stands for? exo would never be the opening group. always the closers. but, when you're reacting to one group, don't start comparisons. that's a fast way to have a reaction video go south.

Chanyeol is not a "fake RM" because 1. having a rapper in the group, a rapper with a deeper voice at that, is not solely a BTS thing nor did they start it 2. EXO debuted BEFORE BTS. and 3. they are two different, very successful and dedicated artist. EXO and BTS are also friends so please don't disrespect them like that. Just because all you know at this time is BTS doesn't mean you should constantly use them as a reference and a way to take jabs at other groups. I understand comparisons between what you know and what you're taking in but this was a little over the top. EXO is a heavily vocal group but they are also great dancers with some of the top dancers in their group and this is the performance video not the actual mv. Was there a mess up? Yes. Is it bad that production didn't catch it when putting the video together? Yes. But one mess up from a member who is a vocalist not dancer isn't that serious to me, genuinely don't think I've noticed it until this video and that doesn't mean the groups or fans aren't dedicated enough. We're human beings, shit happens...

From what I remember, EXO has been out for long however as you should know BTS have become global stars. I read through some of the comments and I don't really like when people are being so harsh so I'm sorry for that (coming from an EXO-L) and please don't let it stop u from enjoying and trying to figure out more about EXO. A lot of EXO-Ls are just very protective over our boys, which is natural. We don't like when people make unnecessary comments about them because honestly I do think some things u said didn't have to be said.
