They are hunted by the Red force, who captured them and cloned them, that's why in Obsession are shown both, the clones and the real ones, fighting against each other (the real ones in black, the clones-XExos in colors) Every MV tells a story who goes further and more. This comeback are missing 3 members, D.O and Xiumin are in the military, Lay is in China with solo projects, but even so, they are killing it, because every one of them can sing, even the rappers, that's why they are known as the vocal kings, they have the ability to mix music styles and create a unique sound, so amazing.

the guy you asked is Chen his real name is Kim Jongdae. He just debuted with his solo album called "April and a Flower" and his 2nd album "Dear My Dear" He is one of the best soloist of Korea now. It's interesting that you got to see first the dark side of exo comebacks by coincidence. When you get to see their other sides/comebacks it's gonna feel like a different group lol. The thing with exo is that they have a whole more complicated storyline under the surface but the concepts for every new comeback differ a lot from each other. They don't have a specific theme cause versatility is one of their best qualities, but they for sure have an unique style that differentiate them from other groups (not saying other groups don't have that too but u get the point).

Yes, you're right, they are fearless in trying a new genre every comeback and they don't repeat concept cuz they have their own concept since debut and it is an ongoing story.

This mv and the song represents the fight between their good and their bad side and it is also connected to their storyline..according to their concept and their story line the versions with colorful outfits and piercings etc. are their evil clones X-EXO created by their enemy to defeat them..Original EXO members are the ones with black outfits.. On 2012 it was their debut songs Mama and History On 2013 the released Growl ..... Then on 2014 kris and Luhan left the group and the last song they were in s Overdose. Kris: bcz of the SM ent wasn’t care bout him Luhan: the same reason ..... On 2015 Tao left the group bcz he had health issues and the last song he was in is Call me Baby and only one live stage he was in And in that they become Exo without K and M And they released Love me right Winter song is Sing for you ..... A lot of people might say this, but their vocals are really good-I would go as far to say their live vocals are even better than their music videos sometimes, and that’s personally a first for me unless we’re talking about a singer like Adele.

EXO is actually a Quintuple album seller which means that all of their FIVE albums had sold at least ONE MILLION copies each. They are one of the most awarded boy group in Korean Music Shows and they are considered DAESANG HARVESTER (Major award in a Year end awards show) But sadly they are slowly enlisting to military in fact on Obsession there are only six members coz the other one is at China and the 2 are at the military services.

Exo to me always comes out with concepts they havent completely done before yet it still feels very... exo. If you watch all their comebacks you’ll get that feeling. Like you wouldn’t know what in the world to expect but they just seem to own it ones it comes out. i remember kpop 2017 was EDM saturated and exo came out with...a reggae-EDM track for Ko ko bop and that was honestly so refreshing and weird (the choreo even better!!) Or like the first time baekhyun showed up in an award show with heavy burgundy eyeshadow and then all the beauty shows and korean youtubes were giving out tips how to copy the “Baekhyun Burgundy eye makeup”😭😂 it was a ridiculous sensation. Or when kai wore a crop top for Tempo... (and his solo fancam went viral) after that, crop tops for men became super trendy in kpop and covers of his Tempo dance kept being covered by other idols. For a group that’s been around for 8 years, they still set trends and that is not... usual😂 for an Idol’s career timeline in korea
