Man I’ve probably watched this video about 10 times nd it never gets old! You go so in depth with your installs that it’s just pure knowledge is viewers are soaking up.
I love watching your videos even though I don't really care about subs. You're so passionate about it, the huge smile you always have plastered on your face always makes me happy! Keep it up man love ya
alright! no matter what anyone says your a real dude. one for people to look for. one for people to know that it's OK to learn as you go. no shame in that. and you are great information hwy. I'm a 20 yr aluminum welder custom fabricator sportfishing yacht tunatower builder. getting custom and learning from learning is how its done!! ive been in car audio since 85. put together an audio art system in 88' with a pair collins tubes... speakers were replaced in two days with kicker pros. the audio art was sure a cheater amp.. and with the 12" tubes recarbed I broke myself. reason? packed into an 85' nissan King cab. alt upgrade was expensive as ____ back then. wire$$ are you kidding i was 17 and worked changing tires for a living... in-between spinning records for pennies. when i showed up places like Knott's Berry Farm it was ridiculous but true and there was plenty of other guys with badass low riders. within the next two years it had takin storm. I'm glad there is a guy that makes it fun and not about anything else but the pursuit of a great system. thanks for all that you will keep going.
Bruce I am so so proud of you I just got done watching this video of you putting all your amps in and hitting you first 160 your excitement even made me get excited like I was there live with you Lol.. Congratulations bro I'm so dame happy for you because you deserve it your a hard worker and always so cool and humble I truly love watching all your videos when I get a chance at night I sit back and watch 5 to 6 of your videos back to back you give great ideals when it come to working on big systems keep up the great work bro congratulations again....Yosh...
First off I just want to say thank you for taking the time to write such a kind comment! It's little things like that which remind me why this is all such a fun thing. I hope to continue progressing even further, and hopefully he will be right there with us! Thanks again
You can use dielectric grease on those terminals you're bolting together using dissimilar metals and it will prevent corrosion and *decrease resistance* as the contacts age.
Things are going to break apart all that trouble you used to go to with different frequencies and tracks to break the 160 barrier and pop there you have it congratulations @EXOcontralto you the man.
Wow! Just Wow man.... dont' leave a lot of youtube comments, but just had to for this one. I'm not even a basshead by any means, but I can still appreciate when something is done right. the passion and care that you put into this build really show in the final product. Love the energy. Keep up the great work! Beautiful install brother. subscribed!
THANKS MAN!!! But I didn't build the van, I still loved installing with it though! "DaveTheBoxGuy" built the wall inside the van - "Pine Tree Mobile Sounds" built the dual 12" box for the Orions - and "Dr. Stereo" built the single 12" for the single Orion :D
I've been watching your videos ever since I got back into car audio and you're making me want to go all out like this with all Wolfram products! We'll see what happens!
Congratulations on the 160!!! Well deserved, I've been watching you for years, it's great to see you meet one of your goals! Awesome job! (FYI, vinegar cleans copper like new! Don't worry about the finger prints)
DUDE I AM NEW IN HERE... I JUST SAW SOME OF YOUR VIDS NOW, DAYUM DUDE THOSE SPEAKER MODS IN THE CAR IS AMAZING AND DAMN DUDE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING PAIR OF HOME SOUND SYSTEM
exo im! happy for you! my goal is to hopefully meter low 150's in my blow through than hopefully do 160's. im glad u got to your goal man. u could just tell how happy it made u. some ppl don't understand this passion that we have for the love of bass, but i do and so many other bassheads do too! keep up the good work and vids man. 👍
Very well put, My goal is just to be able to pull off a decent hairtrick, ive been working and upgrading stuff piece by piece for a long time to do that, cant wait for that payoff!
Hell yeah man, if there's one thing I've learned to do is set goals. Looks like you have yourself a nice set of goals yourself. I appreciate you taking the time to comment, I wish you the best of luck in your future builds!!!
anyone else worried the noise in the cab was 100+ db at idle while he was talking? kinda seems a bit high considering 100+ is like having your ear next to my aftermarket motorbike exhaust on half throttle!
160db straight away, no messin, tidy install as always with you, you're a craftsman for sure. Super stoked for you man, thanks for bringing us along for the ride 👍
EXO I've always loved those original Expeditions. I was afraid you were going to let it die. I'm so glad to see it back in service and glad it worked out for you.
The left Amp in the middle was wrong connected..... but one Minute later is all correct connected... :D exo, youre the best ! thanks for your videos, love them! Greetings from Germany
Congratulations exo thats fu**ing awesome!!!! I've been watching for years now and Ive seen the build progress along bit by bit, and its my favourite build. You put alot of hard work and time into it, more than most people could fathom. I will one day go the usa and meet you, shake your hand and congratulate you on the 160db. Im up too 153.4 and I know how bloody hard and expensive it is. 160db is ridiculous. Exo you are a legend, keep up the good work and inspiring future bassheads through your video's.
I want to start out by saying thank you for taking the time to write such a awesome comment. I would be honored to shake your hand, it would be awesome to exchange some demos too! I'll be sure to keep things rolling smooth, and keep getting louder! Thanks again
Well done EXO!! Ive been watching eagerly to see what Frankenflex could do!! Awesome build dude..revel in that success man after 6 years you def. deserve it!
EXOcontralto haha it's my pleasure! I would be honoured if you would check out my video that i made of my portable speaker box with subwoofer :) see you in the next video!
Just another joy of filming for hours and hours, you get a little jumbled up lol - I noticed the wires just moments after shooting the closeup shots :p
The workmanship looks amazing EXO. 160db...on the first pull!!!!!!! are you fucking kidding me????!!!!!!! So excited for you dude!!! The power is astonishing...Sound like GOD speaking!! :) I can't imagine what it is going to do with all of the battery and upgrades coming!!! I can't tell you how much my son and I appreciate you sharing this with us! Props!
Have you ever thought of using really big Electrolytic Capacitors on the batteries to help stabilize the extreme voltage changes during peak power demand? I used to use a couple of large Electrolytic caps on my booster battery for my CB Radio Linear Amplifier and it made a big difference in the performance. The Large Caps should make a huge difference in audio performance as well.
yesterday i gad to drill 4 hole for tv wall braket on the wall. we had one broken thumb, sisters head injured , carpet burnt, battery dead on the drill machine and i drilled through a live wire. not a bad day
Hello, I'm christopher, I'm from Brazil. I really enjoyed your work and I saw something in this video. I wish I knew! What app do you use on your cell phone to measure the spl? Thank you!
Awesome! 160 holy moly! I would love to hear frankie in person. Your install is looking so damn awesome. Next step lithium power! Can't wait to see what she will do with them. More juice more power! Thanks again for sharing your work with us!
I agree, I can't wait to see what he will finally do with the extra juice!! Thanks for taking time out of your day and writing a nice comment for us, I really appreciate it!
Great work man, can't wait to hear this monster one day! The dedication and patience really shows through your enthusiasm, thanks for all these videos!
@@EXOcontralto no def not I'm just talking about the clean ends that get tightened with Alan head but I like to just fill the ends and then clamp it just holds so much tighter but who am I ? You the man !!! Lol
256 people have something negative to say while 6,001 people have something positive to say. Sweet info, can't wait to try your suggestions to get awesome sound thanks bro.
EXOcontralto Yea right, they say it's the little things in life that matter. As if the 159 decibels meant less than that 1 last decibel to put you over lol. Again congratulations, you're the man!
BiLL Ramseyer that is not an app it’s an actual DB meter that you install on your windshield that has an app to use your phone for the display. That is an expensive tool just not some DB app from the Apple store.
