Fun fact: You know why the background shattered like glass during "The Eve" live performance, right when they focused on D.O.? As a member of EXO, D.O.'s superpower is the ability to use the elements of earth (dirt) which give him strength/force. So what you saw was, as D.O. raised his hands above his head, he used his superpower to break the background. And during the rap section in "Forever," if you notice, the background becomes swirling flames to represent Chanyeol and Sehun's combined powers of fire and wind. As you can see, everything EXO does has something to do with their origin story and their powers, even live performances. You will see in future performances other examples of the members using their powers as well. For example, when it rains on stage, you will see them focus on Suho because he has the power to control water, and when they sing about "Thunder" you will see them focus on Chen because he controls Thunder/lightning/electricity. Baekhyun has the power to control light, so you will often see him turn the lights off or on when he is one stage, and when they sing about snow or winter you will see Xiumin because he controls snow/ice/frost, etc. To help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances here is a list of the members and what their special power is. EXO-K 💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeo) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho) 💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light 🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix. 🌏D.O. (Do KyungSoo) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force ☄Kai (Kim JongIn) is a main dancer, lead vocalist and sub-rapper and his power is teleportation (Kai means opening as in a door or gateway, so his stage name was chosen to represent his role within EXO's story.) 🌪Sehun is the youngest member of the group and he is a lead rapper, lead dancer and a vocalist -- his power is the ability to control wind EXO-M ❄Xiumin (Kim MinSeok) is the oldest member of the group and he is a lead vocalist and lead rapper and his power is the ability to control snow/ice (frost) 🦄 Lay (Zhang Yixing) is the Chinese member of the group, he is a main dancer, lead vocalist and rapper -- his power is the ability to heal anything. 🌩 Chen (Kim JongDae) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control thunder/lightning/electricity (As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese group) The Chinese members who left the group: 🐉 Kris was the leader of EXO-M he was a main rapper and vocalist -- his power was the ability to fly and his spirit animal was a dragon 💭 Luhan was a main vocalist and his power was telekinesis (The ability to control things with his mind) ⏰Tao (Z. Tao) was a lead rapper and vocalist and the martial artist of the group, so he did the flips and stunts in the group's routines. His power was the ability to control time On a side note: If you like EXO's version of "The Eve" you should hear the English version of the song. Henry is the youngest member of Super Junior and he is considered a music genius. Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian, so his first language is English. He recorded a demo of the song so everyone can hear the English lyrics that he wrote and get a feel for the original style of the song. But unfortunately, SM never had Henry record the full English version, which most listeners will agree is a shame, because Henry's vocals and the English lyrics would have made this song an even bigger hit than it already is. The English version is less than 2 minutes long, but once you hear it you will understand why the choreo for this song was designed the way it is. 😁 (I'm pretty sure the move where they cross their arms above their head is supposed to look like their wrists have been tied up. The undertone of the song is all about sexual innuendo. LOL) And D.O. didn't shave his head for his enlistment. His hair is short for a pretty long time way before he was even thinking about his military service. As an actor, D.O.'s short hair is part of the characters he plays. D.O. cut his hair short and had a buzz cut because at that time he was starring in an international movie called "Swing Kids" where he was playing a North Korean soldier who was a prisoner of war during the Korean War in the 1950s, so he had that haircut for his character in the movie. The movie took a really long time to shoot, so D.O. had that short hair for a pretty long time. He also had short hair in several other movies and K-dramas where he played a soldier, etc. (As an actor D.O.'s look is dictated by whatever his character in the movie or drama calls for, so he doesn't follow the normal Idol standard when it comes to his hairstyles, and that is also one reason why you almost never see him dye his hair.)

The intro of the Elyxion concert is THE BEST THING EVER! And this live version of The Eve is a total banger. Suhos high note!!! They started the concert with this song, yes. I love the performance of Forever, with stage "choreo" with the doors * - * I really like that their vocals are this raw at the seoul concerts. Yes here and there they are a bit off pitch or too soft but thats LIVE. In their japanese concerts there is way more post production on their vocals to make the concert dvds more "perfect", which sounds more like the cd but i prefer their original live vocals any day^^

Oh, their concerts are freaking GOD tier. No matter how many times I watch their concert clips, I NEVER get tired of them. I enjoy their lives so much more than their MV's, it isn't even close! Yeah, their were some weird audio issues with this one, it seemed like Kai, Sehun, and Chanyeol's mics were super low, while Chen's was cranked way up. Although, with Chen you never know, he has the most piercing voice, that it could just SOUND like his mic is jacked up when it is the same as everyone else. The boy projects like his life depends on it!

You should see the performance of 'Damage' live. It's really amazing. EXO are so different. When they perform live, you will see the singing legend. They are really live performance kings.

There is still the live album which has the live track of the performance ( not sure if it is exactly this or it is from other night of their tour but it’s the same tour for sure). Also kyungsoo (D.O.) is bald because of his movie here not enlistment.

I think you're one of the few people I've seen notice/acknowledge how difficult the doors in Forever would be, especially with how seamless the one switch between Suho and Xiumin was~~~ (Another kpop group called Boyfriend did something similar for their song Witch, but I think EXO perfected it cause the props need to be solid, cause Boyfriend's was curtains that moved & accidently broke the illusion sometimes... But it is still one of my favorite choreos in kpop^.^)

Yup, EXO live performances are amazing!! The vocal kings of kpop!! If you watch Japan concerts, you will notice they have more production and greater camera works. The Seoul ones have less production and clearer live vocals, but camera works are so-so. You can watch both and compare . But be careful with Japan ones as they usually get blocked. You will also noticed that Kai may not be in some Seoul performance as he was injured.
