exo grow up so much with their music. XOXO was fun, cool, cute, and energetic. Exodus was amazing, stylish, heavy sounding, and has a bit of a twist to it. EX'ACT was super matured, chic, clean sound, and experimental. and The War? i feel like this is the mix between Exodus and EX'ACT with the matured version of exo own style but they add more attitude and "spice" to it if that makes sense lol. but what all exo albums have in common is that they never disappoint
EXO's "EXODUS" Album is as Lit as this believe me.... Its Their best album...before the War came out... now its two of their best... i mean all their albums are LIT Af :)

About the song The Eve, the boys said it was about the eve of a war. Notice that the title of the album is The War which is why the intro track is about the events that happen before a war. About Touch It, the boys said that wrote it for fans. Because they've realized that everything they do including how they move on stage and stuff drives us crazy, so they flipped it and are singing our feels from our perspective. Literally singing my life in his words. If ever there was a video made for Touch It, I suggest they have the boys cross dress and watch themselves perform on stage. It can even be them pretending to be fangirls and show their journey to getting to an EXO concert and all their reactions watching them perform. That would be so funny.

Forever is my favorite in my bias is Kai and no one correct u that the first part of Xiumin's actually Kai's also after the rap part it wasn't all for Baekhyun it was Kai too Actually I didn't believe it at first but I searched the lyrics on the Internet so I found that these are Kai's parts tho 😭💔

the lyrics for the eve sounds like a challenge to exo-ls to break fences/walls when they know exo is in a building lol. but some of the translations were tragic af... Like the What u do section saying Love you right Baby time... isn't it "Love you right. baby, time for just the two of us." Glad you loved forever, it was such a good song and the vocals+rap were amazing. Also, almost no one does the whole album promo in korea... they do it in the west though, multiple songs get promoted
the shining shining part in diamond are ascending and descending half steps. it's not the key, it's the half step part which made it sound "middle eastern" i suppose
