Damn that first duel really was "draw your last pathetic card so I can burn you, Rhyme" "My deck has no pathetic cards! But it does contain, the unstoppable, Exodia!"
0:18 Gohan literally snapping and become a menace to society as SSJ2 Bakura staring down Slifer with a goofy ass smile as if he wasn't going to lose Naruto asking Iruka to stand in as his father at his wedding
Still great that you actually activated Reckless Greed at the end of your draw phase, not only do you partially deal with Reckless Greed's con but you also were able to trigger Heart of the Underdog.... 13:25 Activating Prohibition and calling Exodia, the Forbidden One does not stop the Win Condition from activating because it's a Win Condition not an effect. Prohibition only stops effects.
@@DarKnight20065you’ve gotta admit it is extremely iconic when it comes to more recent anime moments. Hell that shit not only broke crunchyroll, it BROKE PORNHUB lmao people were trying to watch the episode on pornhub so much that it overload the servers
Goku going super saiyan 3 is peak iconic. "And this is to go even further beyond" is probably a line 90% of anime fans know. Aside from that maybe the Haku and zabuza fight from naruto or when ichigo first unleashed his bankai. One of my favorite anime a certain scientific railgun has a scene midway through the first season where mikoto misaka (the anime's protagonist) unleashes her full power against an amalgamation of 10,000 Espers(psychics)
One of my personal favorite moments in recent yrs, is the Medusa/Rider vs Artoria/Saber Alter fight in Heaven's Feel. its one of the few scenes/Moments in a while that had me pumped up and excited, it was just an amazing albiet short, fight sequence.
Top 3 anime moments from MY childhood..... 1: Yugi summoning Exodia against kaiba 2: Goku first turning Super Saiyan & SSJ3 3: I remember Big O, SHOWTIME!!!
Best Underdog Exodia deck is literally have nothing but normal monsters in it aside 3 Underdogs and 3 Reloads. It was super consistent for me in this mode, and I went on a 7-game win streak with Exodia finishes. Best Tribute monsters if you have to stall and get super unlucky with the reloads and opening draw are Millenium Shield, Summoned Skull, Luster Dragon #2(mostly because I only had two Summoned Skulls) and a Blue-eyes for a two tribute. Most I ever really needed was Millenium Shield because this deck could almost always get Exodia by turn 3 if not 2.
I like your editing, man. Also, 2004 Yugioh is awesome xD I still like the times of GX, 5Ds and maybe even Zexal, but wow, do I miss an option to the current format.
It's amazing to see this video and it all but confirms that I actually dueled the real Rhyme on the last day of this mode. Underdog Exodia really puts the pressure on a duel.
There are dozens of hype moments in anime that have engraved themselves in my mind. But few have engraved themselves in my heart the way that the finale to Anohana and the end of Digimon Last Evolution did... As a grown man I proudly cried to both, and I still get misty thinking of them...
My three favorite moments in Yu-Gi-Oh anime is 1. Yami Yugi doing Monsta Cahdo (OG) 2. Yuya's Raging Odd Eyes moment (Arc-V) 3. The moment Judai loses his go to happy dueling attitude and becomes the supreme king (GX)
Luffy jumping out of a barrel and punching a guy in episode 1 of one piece, it was that moment I found my love of anime and one piece became my favorite anime.
That first round after rhyme drew his two from reckless greed basically went: Rhyme : ah shoot I didn’t draw the last piece, I’m gonna lose, but wait I’m the protagonist I can still magically pull out a win from no where with the power of my plot armor
My top 3 iconic moments from my childhood would have to be 1. Goku going SS3 2. Naruto going kyubi mode against Hakku 3. Pikachu saving Ash from the Spearrow Yugi summoning Exodia was peak though. Made little me sad when Weavil just dumped the cards and we didn't see him again.
i used to play heart of the underdog with "the a-forces" and "two-man cell battle" with loads of level 4 normal warriors in an older game. was pretty quick to swarm enemy with it
Oh wow, someone actually used this exodia deck against me during the event. It took like 30+ turns, but I managed to beat it. It definitely took me by surprise after facing a bunch of horus decks.
I was yelling at the screen about you using Jar of Greed when it wasn't your draw phase. It's literally like an extra life if you trigger it after you fail to draw a normal monster. You can also do the same for reload, magical mallet, monster recovery, and hand destruction. I know not all of those are legal in this format, but what you want is any effect that will let you draw cards during the draw phase so it keeps triggering heart.
dude I fought so many decks running something similar. i hope they bring it back i quit playing masterduel but was glued to the game while this was out, im an oldschool player. but there was some cards that shouldnt have been allowed in the 2004 restrictions that they missed.
I went to locals forgot my deck, friend lent me his Exodia deck for the event. First round we draw for start of game and all 5 pieces were on top. Felt crazy.
It was fun playing Master Duel for 4 days. If they made this mode permanent, I would probably play every every day. But now, back to almost never touching this game.
Goku going SSJ and Salior moon transforming are definitely top two most iconic moments but I'm honestly really stumped on a 3rd, it could be "Exodia obliterate" , or "omae wa no shindo NANI", or "oh, your approaching me".
There were a lot of hype anime moments like either when yuya becomes Zarc in Yugioh arc v or when Yusuke gets possessed by the demon in yu yu hakusho but my top 3 is when Atem/yami summons exodia against kaiba in the first episode obviously then when goku turns into super saiyan for the first time against frieza then when Atem fuses the Egyptian gods to summon the creator of light to eradicate zorc/bakura once and for all
This mode should 100% be permanent, it's the most fun I've had with yu-gi-oh in years tbh. also prohibition SHOULD stop exodia but rulings say that it still activates as it's not a card effect and instead it's a win condition Vampire's curse only comes back if it's destroyed by battle.
Reload works with heart of the underdog Since it's a quick effect you can use it after using HOTU and then if you reload to get another normal monster you can keep going
I still run an exodia/slifer deck when ranking up to platinum. It can’t hold up in platinum because I’ve not put in enough work in the recipe but I digress. I very much enjoy playing it in ranked (Edit/addition) supply squad is great for an exodia deck, has been my salvation countless times
