This band has crunchy groove like no other with amazing solos. Only Slayer can give them a run. Saw them at the river theater in Guerneville, CA in 87 when Impact just came out.
At last! It's about time they started showing that thrash masterpiece some love. Can't think of a better song to open a thrash show than this raging cut. Zetro sounds incredible, better than the album! Thanx for the upload. 👍
yeah they've been stuck on a routine of mostly playing bonded + fabolus from the old stuff. impact is not their best album but deserves some love and i'm happy it's getting some.
@@opethman81 Yeah, it's like most bands really, with setlists staying very similar, through the years, just with new songs added whenever there's an album to promote. Impact isn't my fave Exodus album (Bonded and Pleasures are my top 2) but I do love it, and it has a special place in my heart as it was my first Exodus album. It's awesome that they chose to open their current shows with that, as it is tailor made for that slot.
@@Sara_Kane just like you and I like to wear our familiar sleepers and watch our favorite tv shows…same with bands. They get into a comfort zone. But still you see Metallica playing “escape” and stuff of reload, megadeth playing Mary Jane from SFSGSW etc. Exodus should continue with the deep cuts: AWOL of impact is a really cool song, verbal razors, even force of habit has some cool songs and the best guitar solos of their career.
@@opethman81 Metallica are actually one of the very few bands who mix things up quite regularly in their setlists, including some deep cuts. I don't think Megadeth have played "Mary Jane" since the tour for SFSGSW. Though David Ellefson and Jeff Young have played it in their band. There's a few songs from Impact I'd love to see live, including "Changing Of The Guard" which features my favourite Gary Holt guitar solo. Though I was lucky enough to see "Only Death Decides" live the first time I saw them. FOH is an underrated album for me, I love a lot of the songs on that one. It'd blow my mind if they ever played "Architect Of Pain", but seeing as that is such a long song, I think the chances of that ever being given a live airing are miniscule. Ah well. 🤷🏻♀
