I used to be a Petroleum Supply Specialist in the Army, and it's VERY IMPORTANT to make sure the fuel doesn't have any water or dirt in it. If so, whatever is receiving fuel might stall while operating...if it be a simple generator, a Humvee, or a helicopter. All a person has to do is know where the fuel is getting delivered to, and what it fuels..and then dilute the fuel at any point during the transport of the fuel itself. And I highly doubt the person who transports the fuel peeks his head in, and looks in the fuel tank to see if there's water or dirt at the bottom of the fuel tanker. This is why the fuel MUST be checked and logged everyday BEFORE FUELING anything, so you are not to blame when engine failure happens.
