Expectations

I have noticed if I don't have expectations on a situation or with someone, things will come to me about them or I get some kind of answer to a question I never asked but does become relevant later on. And often times I dismiss it and expect it to be something else. Turns out the first thing that came to me was the reality. The tree I mentioned from that other livestream where I felt energy grab my foot through the ground. I didn't expect that. I didn't know what to expect actually. You have talked about your experiences with trees on a number of occasions and that's what inspired me to try it out. I was on outreach at the shelter and there is a tree there that I was concerned about. It looked like its bark had been stripped and it was freezing outside. I used my mind to say hello as there were a bunch of people around. That's when I felt that grab to my foot. Almost like holding hands. I got feelings of "I'm alright, but thank you for your concern" it was a really nice feeling of gratitude and love, a different kind of love though that most people don't get. I stood there for another minute or two before i had to leave back to the office. Beth asked if I heard them sing yet but I don't know if I have or not. I caught myself beginning an expectation of what that would be too lol. I do try to consciously not do that with the spiritual side but its not perfect, i still need lots of work.

I've found this discussion to be so fascinating. Curious if the mind mirror indicated a right or left brain hemisphere dominance. As for expectations, if you can always be true to yourself and don't fake things, it's better.
