With Kapitän Khlebnikov to one of the most remote and most beautiful places on earth. It is a visit to the Emperor Penguin Colony at Snow Hill Island in the Weddell Sea.
@@randybobandy9828 I think what he means is that we should rightfully refrain from hunting them so they do not learn to stray away from us when we would like to observe them up close and so their population can flourish
When I was a kid I was obsessed with penguins they were my favorite animal and after watching like 10 penguin videos I can feel that obsession coming back love these majestic icy birds
I can see why they are called emperor so majestic and proud looking. If only we had half the obedience to carry out our task as some animals life would be greater. 👍
you guys have the most wonderful job in the world. you get to live with the penguins for a day. it must be beautiful to see them in their natural habitat.
I loved this movie! We sailed on this ship for a month in 2005 deep into the Wendell sea, got as far as 76/degrees south. We visited five rookeries and two Antarctic research stations. Absolutely fabulous trip. The photography and the music in this movie are outstanding. I would go back tomorrow, even having been there three times.
This was really really, really awesome! Made me feel a wealth of emotion. It was simply beautiful thank you I've watched it at least 10 times now dude very well done thanks again be safe guys.
I was in Antarctica 2020. Love this continent and place. Was passing Antarctica circle and had swim in Ice cold water. My one of dreams is to go with such big ship and do expedition like this. Video was super amazing. Love the music and everything
Was told I fell in love with penguins at 9 months old when I first saw an emperor penguins at sea world.. 22 now. Still love these beautiful birds to death.
Wow that was so incredible! I am so enthralled by the penguins and can only imagine what it would be like to see them in the wild as I've only seen them in my local zoo!
If you guys love emperor penguins like I do check out one of best documentary’s I’ve ever seen. It’s on Netflix. Penguins spy in the middle. They set up a penguin spy cam and get really great footage it’s just one hell of a documentary. Now that I’ve looked I guess they took it off Netflix? That sucks maybe you guys can find it elsewhere. Emperors are my favorite penguins. They are so cool and very very smart. The little ones are so cute and rely on the parents thru blizzard conditions
BTW: Don't expect much until around the 8:45 mark. That's when they finally get to the colony and it's definitely worth watching. And I'm not sharing this info in order to come off as "whatever"(one would call it). I'm doing so for people that don't necessarily have a ton of patience, who may skip out after the first couple of minutes of not seeing anything. I know, Yes, there are glaciers, a lot of natural beauty around the area and all that. Not knocking any of it. But I couldn't have been the only person who clicked on it to see Emperor Penguins. So if you want where the colony is finally shown, 8:45 is where you wanna be.😉👍🏻
The film work is great. I am a photographer and really enjoyed this insight. Everything - the complete film. If someone is destined for this location, watch the complete film with patience and enjoy it. Thank you VERY much for sharing!

Мы все приехали сюда по одной и той же причине. Всем, кто находится в стрессе, грустит, подавлен или просто не может уснуть, я хотел бы обнять вас всех. Но все, что я могу, это слушать музыку и спокойной ночи! 😘💞💝
This movie is breathtakingly beautiful. Both the visual and the audial aspects of it are just perfect. It clearly was made with much soul and love for the nature! I love penguins a lot and I enjoyed it, thank you! By the way, could you please tell me what the music starting at 15:08 is called?
