Expelled ANC Mangaung councillors barred from ever becoming councillors 

The seven expelled ANC Mangaung councillors have been barred from ever becoming councillors in the region. This was one of the outcomes of their appeal case.
The councillors approached the Free State High Court to overturn the court's decision that upheld their expulsion from the ANC.
Judge Johannes Daffue dismissed the matter with costs.
The councillors were expelled by the ANC last year after rebelling against the party by attending a special council meeting and siding with the DA in a vote.
