Expensive VS. Cheap Sunscreen - Proven With Science 

For this summer science experiment I wanted to know if expensive sunscreen such as banana boat and coppertone and hawaiin tropic sunscreen worked better than the cheap INEXPENSIVE off brand sunscreens such as target and walgreens and other SUNSCREEN brands. I bought 5 sunscreens and tested them all using UV color changing beads in the park. The uv color changing beads react to sunlight and all uv light. The sunscreen was smeared on the bags and then opened up to the sunlight. The bags with the UV beads in it that didn't change colors too much showed that the sunscreen was working well! The darker the beads got from the suns UV rays the worse the sunscreen was!
