About halfway through and I’m getting the same vibes from this review as when Worth It tries the $1k food and it doesn’t taste very good… but they try to explain why the stuff that doesn’t taste good still validates the price.
Very interesting in 1:40 how you actually are standing with your slippers recording the sound part clip 🤣 HAHA! Good video, never been interested in 'audiophile' headphones but was very curious about the Pandas! Nice and honest review! Bad that your Drop Panda doesn't work anymore wirelessly... PS. Did you record this review lojg ago? Before getting your XM4s? Thanks!
Hey Paul, Kat from Sonarworks here. I'm sorry to hear you have been experiencing bluetooth connectivity issues. Please be assured the Drop team is working on the issue and it will be resolved. It's a pity you can't get the Updater to work because with the firmware update you would get to the personalized audio experience with SoundID - with that you could create your custom sound profile, reset to flat sound or use the parametric EQ for advanced tuning. Here is more about our partnership with Drop www.sonarworks.com/soundid/drop/panda-headphones I hope you will manage to get it work soon to experience everything you currently are missing
The type of music also affects how well the headphone performs too. Some genres bring out the best of the headphones tuning while others sound tinny and shrill.
"audiophile headphones" doesn't mean anything,or guarantee for better sound for everything you listen to, you gotta do your research about what you buying, watch reviews, check if those headphones have the bass, mids, or treble you are looking for, as well as the way they give the 3D illusion (ppl call it imaging). Also, remember that cable headphones are just better, even if the pandas have a lot of crazy tech that makes them the "best Bluetooth headphones", give priority to cabled headphones if you want quality of sound.
@@mib5633 good imaging is when the headphones can make you feel like the sound is coming from different directions, good soundstage is when they make you feel like the sound is far away, imaging is the 3D illusion, and soundstage is how wide it is.
Do you have any theory on why your pair ran into Bluetooth issues? My theory is that it has to do with connecting to computers. I'm hoping that's the case because I bought a pair off of eBay for cheap and want to do whatever I can to not ruin them. If you have any ideas please let me know.
Yo perhaps you can consider some iems now to compare to Airpods Pro and XM3 and such. I recommend the Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk version because I know you like some base. Would love to hear your opinions on any iems though
Simple, I don't want, I don't need, I don't care for, I don't like ANYTHING classified as "Audiophile" which means I will not be buying these EVER(one exception, I am at a yardsale and they are in a box marked "$5.00 for the Box and contents. Then I would make an exception)...
I'm starting to feel like you started doing RU-vid videos only for showing us your soccer skills 🤔 Hehehe very ones indeed, by the way... Great video once again!
