The exhibition is at the “Theatre des Lumieres” in Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul.
There are two shows: a short show of Antonio Gaudi’s creations taking you to Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.
The longer 36 minute show features famous works by Salvador Dali.
Walker Hill hotel is one of the older hotels in Seoul celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2023.
It has long been a venue to watch performances and has hosted such world celebrities as Lois Armstrong. It was also the venue where a historical reunion between separated families of North and South Koreas took place.
I absolutely loved the choice of Pink Floyd’s music as the sound track as it went soo well with the surrealistic paintings of Dali.
Take your time to experience the exhibition from different angles and different parts of the venue. Your experience will change depending on where you’re in the room.
My top pick is the mirrored circular room with the iconic red lip-shaped sofa. It’s a perfect place to sit down and take some videos or photos.
To get to the exhibition by public transport you can get to either Gangbeyon or Gwangnaru subway stations and make use of the free Walker Hill Hotel shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes.
