Shane Hoy Joey is beyond elite player for sure, and I have no doubts he can pull off most anything the great Loomis has done, but Arch enemy is absolutely novice compared to most of Loomis' works

I love that orange color! I wish Jackson would add more color options to the US made Select models other than just black and white. I realize we have the Custom Shop for such orders too, but it would be nice to have more off-the-shelf models made in the US with some color variety.

Gibsons are great too. They just produce different guitars from charvel and Jackson. But Gibson gets way too much disrespect and not enough credit for shaping rock and roll history

@@godzillasimpson8357 they get credit for that, but it's not the guitar itself people hate, it's the upper management. they never adapted and evolved like others, they stayed stuck in the past. even Fender had to learn the hard way in the 80's, when the new leadership took over in 1987 they acquired Squier, opened a new Mexican factory and even gave them some American parts to build guitars there, and they never looked back. by 2000 Fender started to accept that there's a market for the modern player, now that doesn't mean there isn't a market for the classic era. but most Gibson LP's never evolved beyond 1960, another issue is the weight. that has been an on going thing for years from intermediate players to professionals, that's why so many classics were recorded with Stratocasters and Telecasters, because there lighter. 10, 11 pounds starts to weigh you down after awhile. Gibson with the new management that took over the last few years, there trying to appeal to the modern player by making the Les Paul Modern, but they still put the maple cap on which increases weight. between Gibson and PRS, there all about how good and shiny i can make my guitar look. it makes sense to put it on the Les Paul Standard since it's based on the classics, but the Les Paul Modern should be different.

That being said i consider shark fin inlays and the headstock to be trademarks of Jackson, so now that Dave's mentioned it... yeah... give us the shark fin Inlays!! or im going Ibanez with sawtooth inlays... jk

Very cool. But Please! Make the same position of knobs and pickup selector as the usa select. The volume is too close from bridge. And pic switch is very near to knobs. By the way, for future versions. The pro series should come with a low friction volume potentiometer.

I love these guitars but I wish they came with the regular dot or shark tooth inlay. I have a Jackson 7 string with the piranha tooth inlay and you cant even see them when playing. I still need fret markers as landmarks to know where I am on the fretboard. Jackson please add some different inlay options to the soloist line.

I love my SL2Q Soloist in Trans Blue..I like it better than my USA model HSS Soloist..I have a love/hate relationship with my USA model..sometimes it sounds so thin even after swapping in and out many bridge humbuckers,but my SL2Q after putting a SD Black Winter in the bridge in place of the SH6B Distortion model it sounds amazing..even after almost 2 years of ownership its never needed any adjustments..Ithis is probably incorrect but the Floyd rose 1000 on my SL2Q seems to be of much better quality than 5 of them I have had..

Jackson sued: Carvin ESP Fernandes over the headstock shape And Ibanez over the Randy Rhoads body style (which they used on the PL2260. So yeah, they sue plenty. And that's fine, a lot companies do. Business is business.

There is no guitar more beautiful than a Burst Les Paul with zebras and no pickguard. The soloist , however, is the best looking metal guitar. No LP in existence plays as easily as a Jackson. Every guitar should have 24 frets, by the way.

I had to buy the chlorine burst when they made this Indonesian Pro Series and through the years this guitar is one of the best I have even facing USA made guitars!! It really aged well and it's always a super fun guitar to play even if I had to change some of the features to fit my needs a little more, now it's just perfect😄 For an Indonesian it's pretty amazing how the guitar is awesome! It's a great plateform for people who know how to properly setup a guitar, it really deserve it... Honestly right out of the box it's a good guitar, after a great setup it's a perfect guitar! Nice job Jackson🤘

I have a Japanese dinky that plays like butter. Jackson may be owned by fender, but that's all they share. My dinky blows away any fender. It comes in second place to my USA charvel San Dimas. Only 2 guitars I need...

Can't do the tiny fret markers. Has to be the full sized inlays. Jackson's are the best looking Super Strat. The square corners look better than Charvels rounded corners. I want a Charvel with a Jackson neck with the Charvel logo like the Model 4. No Kahler. Floyds only

Nothing plays faster than a Jackson's thin neck. The painted necks suck. The raw wood, did I really just say that, is as good as it gets. My hand sticks to the paint. Some super fine sandpaper is the fix. Steve
