A video of some time spent in the Dawn-land (extreme southeastern Maine) camping, exploring, wildcrafting medicine, and deriving nutrition. We had some modern gear to facilitate cooking and fishing, but otherwise relied on the lessons of the indigenous of the area to feed ourselves. I enjoy "submerging" in the local landscapes of the places I visit, to truly connect with those natural places and derive strength from those travels. For me, sustainable harvesting during trips is a true form of eco-tourism. We camped on a seawall that evening, atop of ridge of ocean-thrown cobbles, listing to the wind, the surf, and sea birds. One of those perfect weekends with great scenery, close friends, and amazing wild food.
