My classmate Hemraj tried to make helicopter with small motors in 1997, when he was studying in 11th class. He used tractor battery for power supply. Next day when tractor couldn't started due to discharged battery, his father made him Rocket 🤣🤣
I think the drones of today have some software and a gyro censor that couinteniosly sefregulate the power to the engines. Look for something like that. I always admire your creativety.
Hehehe 🤦♂️It is called a flight controller card and obviously the already has it installed, if it were not so it would not have lifted such stable flight, the problem is of power of the 775 and the weight also
@@rcdreammedellin431 Drones are not my strongest line of expertise. Happy somebody kan give better advice than I. I just know how it feels to fly both by hanglider and parachute.
Great job. I did not think it would take off, given how heavy it must be. You panicked and overcompensated, plus the motors could not spin up fast enough. Still very impressive nonetheless.
Two reasons it might have failed, 1. Total thrust is not enough for the frame (very small props) 2. PID tuning for the frame is must. Really good great project sir… Never thought someone would try 775 quad :p
That controller is ancient, it takes some getting used to. He just slammed on the throttle and hoped for the best. Probably used to the more modern gps stabilized quads. Not saying it's a good design (could definitely use bigger props and some pid tuning) but it looks like it's flyable the way it is.
You are right, the propellers are small and the pid is not adjusted, in addition to the way of putting the motors to the tubes, the problem is in the stability, things have to go through precise calculations and not at random, it could fly if these errors are fixed
Broo This guy is a legend...... (pls read full comment) 1. he uses no effects like others youtubers do like thy click and the full thing is made. 2. he shows the full working that how it is made. he uses the least effects but for me he is a LEGEND..... Bro i salute you. You are the best. Keep up the good work and keep making things like this.
Finally after many many years you are back with RC flying. we need more. i got inspired by you to make RC plane when i was a kid. and now have made 5 of them.
Great video and the machine is also a good idea for a creative drone! Definitely Like!I wish everyone another wonderful, beautiful and successful day and a pleasant and successful weekend, strength and health! 👍👀🛠Like!🚁📸👍
I have been watching for years. At the start he used what he could salvage and as time moved along he bought a little here and there. When he starts a project he will buy bulk items. Many of these things can be bought on banggood and a massive amount of other places. Sometimes its cheaper to buy 10 of something than its to buy 1. That is how he has a lot of stuff. Many of his projects start as the first version which is pure homemade and then he uses a part. If you go back and watch a lot of videos you will see that they start out super homemade and then advance. Which is super cool for people who use his designs. He never offers parts list or part numbers because each one is based on what he has or what he can order. Not everyone can order or has everything he has. Though I would like it if he used affiliate links for some of the parts.
@william, I have watched him for a year as he truly is a master at ideas and bringing them to life. Perhaps RU-vid revenue from his high views on videos supports his purchases which to me is AWESOME. HE DESERVES EVERY PENNY! I look for projects and parts I can afford to source from his ideas! Example: another blogger proved a standard 12Volt windshield wiper can lift 400lbs! Also controllable 100% on rotation and speed like robot arm motors but cheaper! I will make a remote control lawn mower to cut grass while inside in air conditioning. Phase 2 fully automated riding mower, yard mapping, identifying obstacles, cutting in a “”PATTERN”” (NO LAWN MOWER DOES TODAY.).. IDENTIFY ANIMALS AND HUMANS WITH AUTO SHUTOFF FOR SAFETY UNTIL THEY ARE 35YARDS AWAY AND SAFE. YOU WILL SEE IT FOR SALE ONE DAY SOON I PROMISE.
@@smartassist9700 I also think he builds for other people that order from him. As in his garage he does have some things that he keeps yet a lot of the stuff he has built is gone. I think people pay him to build them or he sells them local. Lots of the smaller stuff for kids are more than likely better than the power wheels that are sold here for around 500USD I am sure that once he makes a kids size toy he can bust out about a dozen of them and sell them pretty quick. Remote lawnmowers are nice. I have a far too large of a yard to use any of them on the market. I would have to get about 6 or 8 of them to maintain my yard. Yeah windshield motors are indeed strong.
@@smartassist9700 He lives in Vietnam and does all of his videos from there. You can see this from all of the videos and the cars/trucks/motorcycles that show up.
even it fail to fly, but good try. brushless motor is recommend for higher speed and power as well, try not to use heavy steel brracket , aluminium recommended
Looks like it flies in acro mode just fine. You need an accelerometer onboard if you have never flown before so that you can use self stabilize mode (Horizon).
I figured that was what would happen, I wonder if you could find the necessary electronics for stable flight from a production drone of similar power and size
