Next time try flying it forward instead of just hovering the drone, that's why it just did backflips. See what happens when you fly forward before the rocket goes off. It's insane
They aren’t scientific at all, not carefully conducted, infact I would even call it an experiment if is that obvious what’s about to happen, you’re right that it’s fun to watch though.
And the FAA wanted me to stop my engineering business using drones because we were "unsafe" flying at a mine site but hobbiest can do this shit unchecked. Guys this is illegal as hell do not do this. This is bad for 1000 reasons. This is why we can't have nice stuff.
Totaly agree with you DRONE FREND ITS STUPIDITY . ITS THINGS LIKE THIS THAT GIVE DRONE FLYERS A BAD NAME . AND IM COMING FROM THE (UK) AS A R/C AIRCRAFT FLYER FOR 40 ODD YEARS . AS WELL I FLY MAJOR UK SHOWS . BUT ALL SO LOVE DRONE FLYING .
Thanks for the visualization of the experiment. The rocket must push to the center of mass. But you didn’t keep the balance, and the thrust vector passed below the center of quadcopter, which caused an uncontrolled rotation.
Yes a counter weight is needed under the rocket. A small weight on a long stick would do. Adjusting the length of the stick could make it possible to get it to fly under rocket power
What's your recommendation for the chemical mixture of the fire suppressant he should use when he starts an uncontrolled chain reaction of combustion in the woodline?
The difficulty will be that both have to start at the same time. He could also put a cord between the drone and the rocket, without sticking to hard to the drone.
You should have tried going forward as fast as possible so when the rocket engaged it may have propelled it forward since the drone would have been moving, and pitched forwards.
I did not understand the concept of the experiment..... Otherwise good idea to create a fire your zone of experimentation (fireworks above a field in summer!!) ... A extinguisher extinguishes a fire of 50 cm ² after it is the firefighters .... NIiiiiiiccCCCCCEEEeeeeeeeeee
@@elementor100 , nothing will make any difference , you can’t add additional thrust, the drone can’t compensate for that instant extra push forward and remain stable. There’s a reason you don’t ever see any rotor aircrafts with any type of push engine, it doesn’t work. I have a registered drone, I got an email a long time ago from the FAA and it was about weaponizing drones, fireworks were mentioned in that same email , as in don’t attach them to a drone. If this guy is in the US, he might want to take the video down, idk.
What kind of drone is that. Like what brand?? I wanna know how much it is and where I can find one. It looked pretty decent and I’m sure is way cheaper than the Dji version. Granted the dji version is quality
next time mount 2 rockets, one on each side and fire both at once, but position them so they fire straight, that should prevent the backflips. JTOW for a drone sounds like fun.
Nothing can change the back flipping problem as the drone just can’t handle the force from the rockets. If anything this would make it worse as more thrust=more backflipping. Also the drone wouldn’t be able to carry the weight of two fireworks
Rare earth, lithimium, nikel cadmium,.... many resources have been used to make TOYs : toy drone, balance rolling board, .... Human destroys earth planet for fun.
