I'm going to check your channel. We don't have gar in California but I can still watch. Maybe I'll get a chance to fish when we go to Oklahoma's next year. Edit: looks good, I like your videos. Subbed.
Best of luck at bass tournament Justin! I think you put enough cubes and corn in that water to have all the carp in the lake at that same spot tomorrow. LOL
Thanks Justin for sharing tip I'm going to pick me up a bag at TSC. Carp are tons of fun I love catching carp for catfish bait too and they are definitely a game fish. Good luck catching ditch pickles by the way. Much peace and love from northeast Texas 🤠
I usually use a #6 carp hooks on a hair rig. I think that will increase your hook up rate. The hook is almost always solid in the bottom lip. I’m really enjoying the variety that you’re putting out. Congratulations on nearing the 100k mark.
Sweet feed pellets work good too. Usually used for horse feed. They're basically a mini version of those range cubes. Cool to see you targeting some carp!
Love the run of a carp. Really enjoy watching videos of carp fishing. Here in Missouri they serve carp in some restaurants. I have never tried it but I’ve had people tell me that it is really good. Another thumbs up Justin for a great video
I am so happy to see you do another carp fishing video I think they fight like no other fish in fresh water and are easy to catch but everyone calls them trash fish waste of time they don't know what they are missing
Great video! With carp keep it simple, one small thing you can do to increase your bites is lightly flavor your hook bait only! Chum your area with unflavored bait and get them feeding and drop a flavored hook bait. Instant bite! Your catfish videos are great too!
Fun video great for mid-day fishing. With a finicky cat I have lots of leftover food. I'm freezing the mixed wet and dry for chum blocks and now that weather is warming I'm ready to go. My cat is eating lots of mice and shrews right now so he's earning his keep.
I have been using range cubes for catfish chum and a lot of other things. I run crawfish traps out of my kayak and use them for bait in my traps. They work great for both. They break down so fast, I use a chum bag inside my traps. The feed store next to my carving shop sells them for $6.95 for a 50 lb bag. Be forewarned that you need to transfer the leftovers to a metal trash can. They attract rodents even through a plastic 5 gallon bucket. If you ever do go slumming and make a run through Texas, give me a shout. There are a few really "big cat" lakes around north Texas. Tight lines, PP FYI some of those vines behind you look like the evil "leaves of 3 "
Man your almost at 100k subs! Congrats Justin, your on your way to 1 million. Thanks for the great content, we are doing our best in Minnesota to copy your tactics🙂
Great trip buddy!!! I sure hope your not allergic to poison ivy, and you better check for ticks!!! Good luck in the bass tournament, and God Bless!!!👍🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love to carp fish and very much enjoy your carp videos. It adds a little variety to your videos that I appreciate. Keep up the good work! Love the catfish and bass tournament videos too. Great stuff.
I’ve been carp fishing pretty seriously for almost 10 years now, and I’ve only caught ONE mirror carp. Some waters hold more mirrors than others, it just depends! Congrats on the special catch!
Screaming reel makes the hart beat faster and that's a lot going right nice size fish and carp know every reed branch and snag and swims directly to it, I enjoy your content
Very few things more irritating than a booter caused by a boater. These carp videos are cool. Hope the moms and dads with little kids are watching. Thanks for another great day on the river Justin. From the couch in Ohio
Love carp they fight harder than most other fish except flatheads. Bait runner reels heavy wire number 4 hooks small wheaty ball for bait. Hold on tight! Really enjoy the variety of fish you go after. Looking forward to you making 100,000 subs !
I use small circle hooks for carp. I find it helps keep them pinned a little bit better. It doesn't hurt their mouth. It also let's me put a little more corn on the hook.
Love it, love it. This video is fab. Your style of fishing is like mine, just using basic fishing gear. No fancy stuff. When you go carp fishing again may i suggest you cast your usual distance as normal and the second rod just cast out about 6 ft in front. Then hopefully the action will begin. Congratulations on 100k.
I’m enjoying these carp videos. I’m going to have to give this a go soon. You should have kept a couple of those. Make some great big cut baits for sure.
I feel you bout the pleasure boaters. I only fish from the bank an I be damned if they see me fishing seems like they just gotta get as close to the bank as they can as if they saying look at me very annoying. One time I bout popped a few shots off just to get them the hell away from me 🔫Great vid👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
One of the best fights with a fish I ever had was with a ten pound carp on ultralight equipment. Wow, took me 30 minutes to land it! You’re right, they’re a lot of fun.
I growed up in down town vonore and I loved to carp fish behind the local firehall. Some years I done better on white bread. Take all the crust off then tear the bread in half and roll it on your hook. Done really good. Also done good on corn but had better luck on white sandwich bread the cheapest loaf you can get
Did you get skunked in the later Bass Tourney? Those Carp sure are pretty and fun to watch! I think it'd be cool for you to show us the contents of your Tackle-Box, Justin. Will you please?
Lol I wish you would have left the cussing in that would have been hilarious. Anyway just wear some shorts and shoes you can wade in. This time of year I'm wading neck deep to cast out when bank fishing. The water won't hurt you I promise. 😂 As always good luck to ya!
I was catfish fishing in Ish creek in the main channel, anchored up. A massive yacht came through the channel and we tried flashing him with lights to get him to slow down, he waited until he was right next to us then slowed down causing an even bigger wake, almost flipped my Jon boat with 6 to 8 foot wakes, got to be careful out there.
