During borehole drilling, does clear water have to gush out to indicate that the drill has reached the aquifer? I'm asking because I recently witnessed a borehole drilling activity where water didn't gush out. Does that mean the well will soon run out of water?
Some people allow the water to gush out, some also do not wanna wet the area so they use the segregation of the sand to determine the reach of the aquifer. The pipes go through the various layers when they reach, they just stop the drilling.
