Excellent tools and description on how to use them…👏 I have now come back to this video a year later as I am using EESDR3, although slightly different your tuition also helps on this new software.
Vasily - Thank you for your video - very instructive re how and why. I wonder if others are complaining about Tx signal quality because 'S & T' sounds are emphasized - also the sound of one's breath. I noticed this on the high end of the yellow line. When I mix audio for broadcast on Zoom! I don't have to worry about this because Zoom! has a narrow bandwidth. But when I mix for CD recording I use a 'DeEsser' module in series with the voice mic on my analog mixer. DAW's (Digital Audio Work stations) usually have this feature built-in. Of course YMMV. Keep up the good work.
Using Yaesu M-1 microphone and I am getting excellent audio reports. What I love about the M-1 is that I can monitor my voice directly from the microphone thus eliminating any audio latency. This can also be accomplished with an XLR microphone by monitoring your voice through a mixer. A W2IHY device works really well in connecting the mixer to the SunSDR2 DX.
dear Vaslily why is my pink line not the same as yours? Where is the problem. For me, the pink line goes from 0Hz to 400Hz and not as with you up to 5Khz. The bandwidth is also set to 5Khz. Thanks Arturo
Dear Arturo, Please send your question to our email info@sunsdr.com with screenshot how it looks. We will study your info and will answer you. You should know, we are at holidays till 11 January. Will answer you after 12 January.
Tried downloading the RN6LHF.txp file. It downloaded, but I could not import it in Profile. The import screen appeared, but when RN6LHF.txp was selected, the import screen disappeared. RN6LHF.txp was not in my list. I have only "Startup" in my list. I am using version 1.3.1 update 8.
Hello John, I'm just playing with exactly the same thing. When I imported the txp file, it wrote the contained values to the active profile. If you wanted to keep your previous settings, it may already be too late! Ralph - 2E0GNM
