I was finding it difficult to connect my kids to our Sanatan dharma because, as you correctly pointed out, we ourselves have not studied it enough to be able to answer their skepticism. As a senior citizen, l assure you that there is a very great urge among the sanatanis to delve deep into our scriptures and learn the hidden wonders in it, but most of them , though very curious, are confused as to how to proceed . The best thing is to try and learn Sanskritham and side by side read the Bhagvad Gita,Ramayan, Mahabharatam, Srimad Bhagavatham etc and discuss at home with family members and other members of the society as often as you can, wherever you can, and whenever you can. I am confused with timeline of hinduism, it says that Ram Setu us 7000 years old and it is related to God Ram, so by this way God Ram was 7000 years age here in earth, but on another side we say God Ram was in treta yug, and Treta You happened before Dwapar You, and Yug is approx 16, 12, 8 and 4 Lakh years, so how finding of Ram Setu suggests presence of Ram 7000 years age. Please explain my query, I am horribly confused in our Timeline of Yugs, same says Mahabharat ke awashesh aaj hastinapur Kurukshetra aur aaj ki Delhi me mil rahe, which was as ASI 3000 years old, but Mahabharat hapend in Dwapar Yug, So I unable to correlates current findings and our believe system of Yug. where I am lacking in my knowledge and understandings.

Once Prajapati Daksha built a temple in which a statue of god Vishnu and god Brahma sculpture but in that statue the was no "Shiva Linga". and this event is from satyuga so murtipuja was already there from the beginning.even lord Rama worshipped Shiva linga (rameswaram)in treta Yuga .i think Dr vineet forgot this
All the practice was there from the beginning but prominent practice was different, just like in Kaliyuga though we have temple worship, yajna, meditation but the most prominent way is to Chant the holy name of the Lord where by one can attain the supreme destination
