The Pixel Reaper lol yeah king would lose his sacred weapon and but utterly useless and is about to die and then merlin just reaches in her back pocket and is just like what is this oh yeah here go king 🤣🤣
@@d-dub-m I don't think so, when she got meliodas 'weapon she said that it costed something in return to get it back and that meliodas have to pay it back.
He was hiding in a mountain, only moving at night which kept his power level down at 15. If you remember they start feeling his power while sitting in the bar and say “that must be Escanor” which was happening as Escanor was playing with Galland
My theory: Merlin made the sacred treasures for the sins after analysing each and every one of them. Who else has the expertise to make such fine and diverse weapons other than her?
possibly, the only unlikely one she made was chastiefol as the tree itself is credited as making cause the original one (Basquas or whatever) was gifted to the first king of fairies by the tree
Jaylon Fu it’s kinda funny that you thought I was offended. May I please understand your thought process to get to this conclusion? I’m honestly curious
Jaylon Fu 1: I was curious as to why you were watching this video, which would allude to you being a geek, and yet calling others geeks as if it were insults 2: i was watching the video while responding and it took 10 seconds to type that out. I don’t believe that I was really spending much time to respond, but take it as you may 3: not really? Please correct me if I’m wrong, but the subject was of me being offended and I requested you to elaborate on it?
adding on to weeb masters point. even if baltra HAD made the sacred treasures.theirs LEAGUES of difference between actual gods blessings and some special weapons
I love how all the sins sacred treasures to make them reach their full potential But escanors is just used to nerf him so he wont absolutely obliterate someone
@@joshualimon173 merlins has! She had been born with Infinity, one of the most powerful abilities ever. Even the Demon King, and Supreme Deity wanted it... so Merlin tricked both of them as a child and received blessings from each; The Deity gave her all the secrets to Heaven, and divine protection against commandments. The Demon King gave her all the secrets to Purgatory, and divine protection from the brainwashing of goddesses, until both gods found out she tricked them, so they rained 1000 days of death and despair on Beliualuin, Merlins home, Merlin escaped, but everyone died, so now, she stopped her aging, and is called: 'The Daughter of Beliualulin" but her real name CAN'T be pronounced by humans. That's why Grayroad and Fraudrin were so scared of her name, even Ludoshel was when she saw Merlin defeating Cusack, and Chandler. So she was GLUTTONOUS FOR KNOWLEDGE AND POWER! I don't know how Merlin joined the sins. This is what I've heard, I don't know about Escanor's. EDIT: I have found Escanor's sin... as a child, he hadn't had Sunshine yet. So he was frail and weak, and his older brother use to pick on him, so one day, his brother was saying how wimpy he was and picking on him, that's when his power awoke, and coincidentally, it was nearing noon, so as soon as it struck noon, and his brother kept picking on him... his power released, and he grabbed his brother's arm and broke it. Obviously his brother ran to their parents, (who I forgot to mention we're king and queen, so him and Escanor are princes), and they saw his injury and blamed it all on Escanor, saying him standing up brought so much pride out that he was so strong to break his arm, (his parents don't know he had Sunshine), so that night, they were planning to execute Escanor, but one of the women from the town broke him out, put him in a barrel, and he floated down a river, away from home. Nobody could find him, until he floated downstream to a small village, where they found Escanor in the barrel, some villagers, and coincidentally, Merlin and Meliodas were passing by through town, and Escanor saw them, but never spoke to them... Escanor grew up in the village they found them, and some years later, Merlin and Meliodas were passing through again, and Escanor had already got Sunshine, so he stood on a cliff, then Merlin walked up and proceeded to say; "My, my, why is such a strong man standing out here on a cliff?" After she said that, Escanor said; "I don't have ti-..." and was cut-off as he turned around and saw Merlin, the most beautiful woman ever, and joined the sins.
@@acorpse1535 I believe king casted it on Atollah, and the previous before it was Ban. So it showed throughout the current series he casted the third configuration twice
This form has disadvantage. King cannot move his staff while fossilized active. That's why he caught ban first with second form and then change it to third form. And this form fossil spreading is so slow. It's useless against demon clan. If it touch hand first, they just cut their hand before spread full body.
yes......but no, one found it's first use being to cut down trees, the other was first show used to cut down a demon who just cut down a few of the people we thought were the strongest in the kingdom, though gotta admit that both have a habit of throwing their axe away when they are at their strongest.
I'm convinced that Rhitta was specifically made to allow only Escanor to lift it seeing as how there are multiple instances of people who were either stronger or almost as strong as Escanor and couldnt fully lift it
Escanor said to galland that a demon isn’t worthy of picking up the axe so i don’t think it’s a weight problem, it definitely has a similar enchantment to Marvel Thor’s Mjolnir that only allows those who are worthy to lift it.
You mean to defeat Hendrickson? That was another skill called Revenge Counter. Or in the movie? Yes that was a combo attack by everyone and meliodas used full counter to redirect it to the enemy. Or you mean in the manga in the last boss fight? Yes, those were full counters redirected repeatedly to defeat the enemy.
Revenge counter absorbs attacks and unleashes power at double strength (like bide in pokemon) Counter vanish nullifies any magical attack sent toward meliodas Full counter reflects the magical power back at double strength (can be directed elsewhere) (strength doubling can stack with each successful full counter) Combined attack: Seven Deadly Sins is everyone doing their signature move and meliodas reflecting it (sometimes several times) towards the enemy in question
Emerald Octo is actually one of Gloxinia's actual battle forms. Plus, Basquias doesn't turn into an octopus when in Guardian form, it turns into a giant wasp
Fun fact: Gideon is based on the Polish Horseman Pick, a heavy weapon used as both a blunt tramua device and it's downward spike is for piercing armor. Personally my favorite among all the Sin's weapons, wish I had it irl.
I'm pretty sure that there are officially ten forms of the spirit spear. In addition to the eight that you mentioned, there is also Death Thorn and Moon Rose (Droplet of Life). However, King has never used these. Since Gloxinia has used them, we know they exist, but we don't know if King can harness them. I'm pretty sure that his pillow is just a form of Guardian, or a dormant form of Chastiefol.
@@backfromthedead2911 No it didnt. "Signs of holy war" isnt really a season 2 as netflix would have you believe. Despite netflix labeling S2 as S3, there are only 2 full seasons of the show. Signs of Holy War is considered an OVA i believe
@@adolfvictorino4343 I wouldn't expect S3 to be the last. The manga is still going. Although 7DS is being moved to another studio. (Which could potentially suck but lets hope not). Although they said itll pick up where the current series left off and will follow the same manga
how come chastiefol was created by the king of leoneth?! the spirit spear is more like a royal weapon of the fairy king then a secret treasure... (after all... the FIRST fairy king had / have (...) a spirit spear of his own...)
17:31 That's not that impressive since holy knights are basically nothing in the series now. Remember when they were threats and a challenge? Those were good times.
Divine axe rhitta, despite its name, Is actually a halberd( a fusion between a axe and a spear). However, based on appearance, it appears to be a one handed halberd rather than the usual two handed variant. Also, the axe blade is too big for the spear to be used effectively.
I’m not sure but I’m pretty sure Gowther made his own sacred treasure since it’s made of energy and btw gowther knocks out people who have a spirit level less than 400 not power level
Divine Axe Rhitta is actually more so used to suppress and boost his power because Escanors: Sunshine is extremely dangerous after he’s done with a battle. He said “I shouldn’t go back even with Rhitta.” This was said after his battle with Estarossa.
One thing I liked about the first movie was that it allowed the Seven Deadly Sins to fully combine all of their attacks for one big finisher. This was only used in the movie as the final battle against the Demon King had a different style attack combo used.
I liked it too just not so much for the name. I was hoping for something like “seven deadly sins sevenfold technique: Beyond repentance” or salvation something with a bit more punch than just their name
Lostvane reminds me of Inuyasha’s blade when he gained the form with the dragon/demon scales. Theory: the creator of the Sacred Treasures is...a dwarf, or someone of comparable smithing skills in Medieval English folklore like the dwarf of the Nordic mythos. Imagine if that dwarf/smith had the ability to craft using concepts or immaterial ideas instead of just raw materials (using emotions, sounds, life, souls, etc.)
King Bartra: The Sacred Treasures bring out the Sins true power. Escanor: Who decided that?!? Ban: Well yes, but actually no. King: *TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SAID BEFORE*
Escanor's Sacred Treasure, Divine Axe Rhitta was meant to control, focus or minimize Escanor's power by giving him the ability to store his power in it else he destroys everything around him. Escanor is the greatest
