Explaining Digimon: MYOTISMON / VAMDEMON DIGIVOLUTION LINE [Digimon Conversation #77]

I always seen myostimon as a manipulator, If he's not a main threat, it's because you aren't a focus to him, he'll use you and throw you away whenever you aren't needed. A "kind" myostimon is likely worse than an angry one because atleast the angry myostimon is honest in his nature.

Maybe Skullsatanmon and Lucemon are just simply the Digital world's way of taking Lucifer's data and making more than one variant depending on how they interpret the story behind Lucifer?

Malomyotismon is one of my favorite digimon of 02. If I were to be a dark digidestined, it would likely be my partner digimon. That or a Dorumon that undergoes Dex Digivolution. Perhaps Arcadiamon would work as well. I would love to see dark digidestined who are partnered up with different dark or even evil digimon. Instead of crests they could have vices. Perhaps one for each Seven Deadly Sin. But that is only an idea.

Most Japanese media interprets Lucifer and Satan as two separate entities which makes sense in biblical canon once you get in muck of it. Although Satan mode is weird nick in that but that's closer to reference to dragon of revelation.

Another inspiration behind Myotismon's design is Dio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, specifically Dio from Part 1. This is best shown in V-Tamers, where Myotismon has a few lines of dialogue that reference Dio.

Myotismon is certainly a character that the developers don't really know what to do with. The blood sucking and enslavement bit probably shouldn't work on humans especially when in our world as we are not made out of data, and to get to Malomyotismon he was incredibly opportunistic as he merely took advantage of the foreign state he was reduced to. He has a tendency to get involved with stuff he doesn't understand (like the dream world) and ending up worse for wear due to lacking such understanding. Perhaps this difficulty in utilization is a good thing. Some characters are best served in their original role and context, are remembered for it, and should be left that way. In general I say that Myotismon is most dangerous due to his persistence rather than simply power or intelligence not that he is lacking in those. If I had to face him I would certainly be doing so with Volcarona due to its ability to fill in for the sun. You bet I want someone that is a mobile source of sunlight when dealing with vampiric creatures. Oh by the way the number 666 was Emperor Nero's number and there is a very good reason why we hate the guy. Every era has their own beast and false prophet each with their own name and number. That's why we must stay vigilant because evil has many forms and a tendency to worm its way into things.

The fact GranDracmon is not his 3rd mega is a kick in the teeth

Arabic Version of Digimon Adventure gave the abbadon name to VenomVamDemon or هراس Harrass, and they treated him as the conincarnation of Neobeast that fed on the remnants of Myotismon's Data and Soul.

Oh my god I remembered Malomiyotismon existed years ago and tried to google the episode/movie it was in and could not find it, I clicked on this in hope to find out where that Idea came from, thank you for clearing up that mystery

Knowing Digimon franchise probably SkullSatamon will be undead version of Satamon as Different Devil Digimon from Lucemon. Like Mephtomon (Goat Devil) and Phelesmon (Red Devil) are both named after Mephistopheles.

Bagramon could literally rip out their digicores and place them into weaker bodies if they even tried that. Neo was ultimately a vamdemon in name alone.

I kinda changed perspective on Vamdemon becus of Digimon Survive - Dracmon has line to digivolve to Vandemon. And its one of true possible evolutions Beelzemon. Same way to Piedmon. In Ghost game. In a way depends on each digimon. Being Virus time doesn’t mean they might be evil. They may be also fair but tricky with games and heavy punishing those who try cheat. Hmm… in a way. It’s really interesting. So it really depends… 🤔

I always thought of skullsatanmon as like regular demons route to become the king/emperor/watever of hell like the real Lucifer. So this version of satan isn’t gonna b as strong as say the real fallen angel Lucifer or lucemon. Idk if it makes sense. It does in my head. Lol

Are there any Undead Digimon that are not malicious or even heroic in nature, despite being undead? On to something unrelated, I would like to know if the Digimon based on the Greek Zodiac are their own designation, like the Devas and their connection to the Chinese Zodiac. To my knowledge, Saggitarimon is currently the only Digimon based on the Greek Zodiac confirmed.

I think that Myoticmon was a very interesting Villian and it evolutions line is very interesting also If he is not a Fallened Angel then why does he evolved from Devimon and I think Neo Myoticmon Was an interesting edition to Fusion.but I think the original is better.

Ok, the entirety of the "NeoMyotismon" part was completely new to me... Never heard of any of them. If it was in an anime, i guess it's in the blank period of Digimon for me.

I'm not fond of the concept of any Digimon being purely evil by default. As some Digimon lore coincides with the v-pets existence as a tool to connect humans with Digimon, so too should any obtainable Digimon have the capacity for love and friendship with their chosen partner. That is why I like the Myotismon from Digimon World who is an amicable person without malicious intent and the one from Survive who has a human partner. That being said, when Myotismon and its variants are depicted as truly evil they're a pretty terrifying encounter. I truly hated the Myotismon from Adventure/02 because of its callous behaviour and disregard for the lives of even its most loyal minions and by that standard it is a good villain as it makes the satisfaction of its inevitable defeat all the sweeter.

lucifer dosent equal satan . Lucifer was only used in reference to the king of Babylon.

within christian folklore satan was the name given to multiple agents of god; their purpose to persecute humanity. Lucifer is a specific figure in christian folklore who while god's favourite child betrayed them and was punished with God's absence from their life.

Lucifer and Satan are not always the same entity Satan is a high rank angel who works for god judging the wicked in his name in older texts and Lucifer is a fallen angel banished by God and imprisoned under the watch of beings like Satan
