some in depth video on he shells after the rework would be interesting,like for example doing more hp/crew damage to thicker armor, than lighter plates,and the characteristics of spaced armor is some vehicles
I have problem with understand one thing. Why I never can have bonus on vertical stabilizator ??? It is on firepower group and we cant take it on TD's and SPG's. I really don't understand why it can't be on mobility slot with bonus. Thank you for your answer and for your time.
279 is only OP against lower tiers, because they cant pen it from the front anywhere except cupola. Against tier 10 vehicles, its armor frontally is RNG guided at best, one goes through one does not, unless it raises its hull on some uneven terrain. Then it is nearly impenetrable, but it cant shoot because of severe lack of gun depression, being less effective than hulldowning. To shoot, it needs to expose its armor at a worse angle yet again. 330+ mm heat can go even through the turret, 320mm+ apcr and heat cut through its frontal plate like butter unless it gets angled. It cant sidescrape because cheeks are a major weakspot, even leopard's 278mm stock apcr go through, not to mention stock ammo of TDs and god forbid premium ammo. If you facehug a fellow 279 with a smaller vehicle, it cant even depress its gun anywhere else but your cupolas and if you wiggle it cant even hit them. If you depress your gun in this situation and shoot it just above its tracks, even stock ammo of things like 430U go through. Not to mention premium ammo. Its gun is also merely average and it is rather slow, most of the time not even reaching its maximum speed, which is only 40 kmh. In randoms, it is a situational vehicle at best. so many cool equipments!!!! IF ONLY THE GAME SHOWED THE HIDDEN STATS so you can actually understand what "stabilisation" or "modules durability" are. How come a third-party community website is infinitely more useful, accurate and informative than the blimming game itself?
gun rammer is so useless for me, I am never in hurry to pick and deal more dmg, whatever tank I choose :/ I use gun rammer only for tanks which have more than 10s reload time... Whenever I try to shoot as soon as possible, I miss the shot... idk maybe I am bad, but I still dk
It might be the most popular setup but it's not always the best. Some tanks would use more durability or detection than 1 extra second of reload time. When in doubt do not hesitate to ask you friends, clan members or check out the forums or our Community Contributors - Dwigt
I seriously want to know how the spall liner equipment works? Bcs in the description it says it reduces 50% of HE-shells damage, but ingame HE-Shells still do the same amount off dmg? like is it an translation issue or what?
I've heard from somewhere (not too sure) but HE works like this: If a HE she'll hits you, and is "non-penetrating", the max damage that the shell would do will be halved, i.e. instead of 900 a Type 5 will only blast you for 450 max. Armour will be taken into account for the remaining damage reduction, I dun know the formula for this, it's somewhere. But I think the most annoying part of HE is that for some reason, the shell will attempt to find the weakest point of armour to deal it's damage through. Let's say the HE shell from the Type 5 was supposed to hit you on your turret but since your engine deck is near the impact location, the damage will be dealt through your engine deck, resulting in a hit of maybe 300++ damage, not more than 450 of course since it was a "non-penetrating" hit. As for the equipment, I think it's only splash damage that it reduces, i.e. non-direct hits. Please correct me if I'm wrong
@@jacobtanjinghong HE shell making 900, vs a non penetrating shot vs 150 armor, its 50% from 900, then -150 ( maybe the effectiv armor is counted at this time ) + the Rng of 25% from the shell damage itself
3:07 that shot without aiming equipment unit is just RNG, that could have happened to other FV with one. Do not use aiming equipment on Heavies, its just a waste of slot. And, do not use binoculars or camo net on T10 light tanks, in T10 lights u have enough view tange and conclealment.
The difference in accuracy between a normal Improved Aiming Unit and Vents is so small (0.01 dispersion difference), it's bad to actually use it on anything else other than TDs. Because Vents will also make everything else about the tank better. NOT. WORTH.
Obsolutely love the new equipment. But one more equipment to improve shell velocity would really help like the cs tanks, some tds with very slow shell speed. Sometimes even if you aim perfectlty shell just hit the ground because it arches due to slow speed
@@tobiasteichmann5882 i use vents, gun laying drive and accuracy to inprove my shots otherwise the tank is going to be completly unbarable to play with
Buff the GLD and give make the firepower slot on Vert Stabs useful. What’s the point of it being firepower equipment if the only vehicles that have the slot are also the only ones that can’t use vert stabs?
i feel like the light tank and tank destroyer have very few advantages when it comes to the equipments cause i see my tanks which i played, including heavies and mediums, all used 4 of these equipment most vents, rammer, IRM, coated optics and vert stab, i dont really use the rest :|
The video was amazing. But, why can't you just add these to the game??? I mean, it would be nice if we can see the ammoracks and fuel tanks and effective armor values, in garage. 😅

WG: How can we make this game more difficult for the users? Instead of continuing with a simple tank shooter game, let's make it more difficult by messing with equipment and crew training.The game was more simpler and fun 6-7 years ago. No wonder most of the good streamers left. It's more like work or studying what's best instead of having fun.
