Good video, but there is some information missing or inaccurate, you can test it in game yourself, cvs DO NOT remove camo of moving lights. It only removes bush camo value. And designated target, and its directive only works when youre aiming to direction of the enemy tank, otherwise it will NOT work. Other then that good video, more like this. EDIT: WG is correct about CVS removing camo of the light tanks. Youre gaining like 10-30 M distance depends how skilled enemie light crew is. But WG is not saying full truth about Designated target and you need to aim to enemy direction if you want to spot him for 16S.

Wery usefull , mainly part about spot assistance. I love playing light tanks (EBR, AMX, LT And Manticore) but sometimes spot assistance feels wery stange. THX for this video.

I wish things like binocular telescopes or just shell casings from autoloaders would actually show, that would be so cool, and for binoculars it would actually help to understand how to play against the enemy that's using them

can yolu make a video showing us how the exp. and credits are calculated at the end of the battle, and how exp and credit earning works, like how much exp do you get for demaging vs. destroying the wehicle.

The spot with the radio group improved reaching 16 seconds has a bug, the first time goes with 16 seconds but then 10 seconds remain. Even some stremers have noticed and complained

Here's a simple breakdown, the spotting system is downright broken because every vehicle is invisible unless you make a dice roll which is higher than the invisible tank.

You forgott open field / space when you can easy see aprox 1000 meters and the tank that moves on that open space dont show up (el halluf map and many other bigger maps) that is very strange like have a WALL that dont exist . YOu shuld always be able to see across no mather the distance (if nothing blocks the way ofc ) just as you do IRL . The eyes dosent stop working at 350 or 455 or 550 meters . This need to be fixed asap . Is a tank in the open 1000 meters away you shuld be able to see & shoot it in any tank .

What does the little beep beep circle mean on the mini map? And how come I some times move into range of an enemy, but don't get any spotting assist for it?

They say you don't need to fell Fir trees, but give no details, does this mean the box around fir trees is as wide as the widest part of the tree all the way to the ground ?

I have one question: let’s say you are within 15m of a bush and you can see through the bush, but does this bush also provide camo to your enemies? The scenario is this: when I spot an enemy, I wait for him to keep driving until a bush is between us, then I fire, I felt usually this help prevent the enemy from spotting me, but let’s say he is in a bush within 15m to himself, does that bush block his vision(still provide camo to me)? Thanks

What i need is a video explains how Match Making works. It terrible when having rhinoceronte, amxB, kravagn fight against t95, 279, 260 in city map, that my latest battle.

I think the spotting system could be improved to better reward skilled play instead of just EBRs auto spotting everything in the first minute, and at the same time make a benefit to tanks with dedicated radio operator. Imagine when you spot, ONLY YOU spot and the enemy isnt automatically lit for your whole team. By looking at the tank and pressing a button, maybe T to request fire, that action then lights up the enemy to your team. This would make tanks harder to spot if the scout isnt paying attention, or if you were only visible for a fraction second while crossing a gap. You could also take a greedy risk to kill enemies yourself by not relaying your spot to the team ;) The relay spot action would have a cooldown, 4 seconds for a 100% radio operator, longer if not fully trained. So no more poking a ridge and auto spotting the whole team instantly! Light tanks and tanks with a dedicated radio op would only have a 2 second cooldown to relay spot. Crew skills or equipment could add more funtions like auto relay for the first X tanks spotted for example, or further reduce the relay cooldown. I'd like to see this or something similar on the sandbox.

I mist up... DO tank speed affects concealment??? For example if i move slow... do i have same value as top speed ????

The enemy can't shoot you when they don't know where you are... sure... literally every derp player: Fires blind into the field after the first reload -> hits enemy light -> light ded

hey WG, what do you think if you could see other players equipment, say when your team mates Bino's are up, u can see it above there tank poking out of the Commanders hatch. This will also show and reinforce team play say the team doesn't know if the light tank has Bino's or Coated optics which can change their gameplay ands top harassments from TM

Ye but nowday, its frikin broken. Let me explane: Im playin tier VI mediums, and the matchmaking drops me against tier VIII (all the time), it doesnt make any sense im hiding behing 4 bushes covering myself with camo, they always spotting me. ITS BROKEN FIX IT.

I still don't get the increased view range: If it's above 445m, then... "everything above will work as a revealing effect"... What does that actually mean?

This is an overall good video, just like some others explaining game mechanics a few months or years ago. Nonetheless, I am not trying to kill the mood but...there is a very good reason why wheelies are not really featured there, even though they are categorized as light tanks (only a wild EBR 90 appears near 2 mins in the video). As an average 2017 player / customer with 28k battles, I stand by my point : tier 8 and above wheelies are what is slowly but surely killing the game. Keep the tier 8 premium as a meme tank, because you will never take it back from customers who bought it (which is reassuring in a way), but you have to remove this tech tree to make the game working as intended. No nerf / tweak will ever do the trick. Oh, and the HE rework was a disaster as well, but at leat we can cope with it until you figure it out and tweak it a few patches.

I still don't get it how the total concealment is calculated because it isn't mention in the video so I'm guessing that is was the sum of the enemy view range - (%tank concealment+%foliage total(Max 80% or 64%))enemy view range = the closest distance that we will get spotted if reaches(Min 50m) I hope that I got it right or someone would help me correcting this formula because it somewhat doesn't make sense 😭

One of the many things I disagree with in this game is the radio. It should only highlight on the map the location of an enemy. It should NOT all of the sudden give you a visual of the tank. In the example they gave, radios told other tanks where targets were. They didn't magically give your friendly tanks super vision to see what you didn't see before.

Count all assistance. It doesn't make sense only to pick the highest one.

Ok then tell me WG, i have an ELC EVEN 90, one of the best passive spotters in the game with 43% Camo rating and i wont get spotted but my rhm with 58% camo rating stationary behind a bush gets spotted by everything (not just scouts) over ridiculous distances...

WG please lower the maximum view range to 200 metres or else make the maps bigger, this spotting system doesn't allow me to push a flank because of the campers and I end up staying on a single flank for 5 minutes doing nothing!!!

Would be way more cool and realistic if the player could use their eyes to spot enemy tanks when in first person. Don't like that a tank can remain invisible while shooting at me because of a hidden stat! Maybe if you designed more cover and foliage into your maps you wouldn't have to implement this archaic and awful game design component.

Here's a TLDW, the spotting system in this game is downright terrible because every tank is invisible unless they make low dice roll and there are times we're certain tanks remain invisible regardless of distance. There is absolutely no skill nor strategy behind this system.
