What is memory safety and why is it important? Why do programmers like me care about it?
This video is an attempt to explain what's happening. My cat Otis and I will try to use a warehouse analogy to explain why it's important to keep things orderly.
Oh and I'll admit - I personally quite like Rust. It's a memory safe programming language that doesn't sacrifce on speed. It's a good step forward for the software industry and a better default.
I'm looking forward to a future where all programs run smoothly, are energy efficient are free from needless security vulnerabilities.
