sayo lives under hinas shadow forever and can’t change any of that. most of the characters you ranked high are ones without proper development and are the stereotypical nice girl. the more well constructed ones are below, for example chu2 still hasn’t got her character development she lives off of envy from others how do u hate on good characters while liking characters that only depend on other characters and serve barely any purpose in the plot except the addition of cute anime girls
♡"barely any purpose in the plot except the addition of cute anime girls" idk how to tell you this but cute anime girls................... are kind of the whole point. its about girls in bands it's rly not that serious. ♡also, liking characters who are fun and cool is awesome. just because they're #deep and #complex doesn't mean i have to like them. this is a video about what *I* enjoy you can enjoy picking apart and psychoanalyzing characters and I'll have fun watching them be silly. its ok to enjoy and interact with media in different ways ^^
I disagree on the Chisato one, she does not hate Kaoru. However, I do agree to an extent that she can be quite rude. I'm waiting for a character development for her and hope it comes soon.

Sayo used to hate Hina because she was tired of her little sister copying and being better than her at almost everything. What made it worse is that Hina doesn't do it out of spite or rivalry, she just wants to do the things Sayo does because she loves her older sister. Try reading Wish upon a Tanzaku, Umbrella for the Autumn Rain, Cooking Class Craziness, Twin Star Ensemble and Prismatic Duo. It shows the development between the Hikawa twins.

yes someone who realizes how awful sayo is to her sister I personally don’t really like Hina that much so I can see why she’d be so fed up with her all time but gurl that’s your LITTLE SISTER. you’re supposed to be supporting her, not constantly trying to 1-up her all the time. I feel like part of the reason Hina is so clingy with Sayo is because Sayo doesn’t pay enough attention to her or spend any time with her, even though that’s all that Hina wants. And their lack of communication is leading Hina to long for her big sister even more. I feel like the problem would be fixed if they just spent some valuable sibling time together every now and then but Sayo prioritizes her guitar skills over basically everything and everyone else, so of course she wouldn’t want that.
I'd be inclined to say they're pushing something. Remember that time Sayo was pictured as Orihime and Hina as Hikoboshi in the Wish upon a Tanzaku event? Orihime and Hikoboshi are star-crossed lovers. I don't think they chose that lore by accident. This kind of thing is prevelant in anime, so it's not at all surprising. Not to mention some of their cards together are... uh... weird. Just to be clear I'm not commenting on the ship itself, but it's very obvious what the intent is.
But you do realize Sayo and Hina fixed thier relationship in the Autumn rain event. Right, sure it doesn't erase what she did but it's a step in the right direction to help Sayo become a better Older sister for Hina.
