@@christian.2015 I simply used the numbers I had found previously when trying to decode, and then looked for the letter equivalent in the patron names. For example, the first name of the first patron was Peter, so the ESFP's 1 =P, ESTJ's 2=E, etc. From there, simply arranging those letters in order of appearance of the different types and accompanying numbers/ letters, yielded the message.

ISTP (like myself) doesn't really take notice of those details either despite being Se aux. I think you really need an Si user to actually remember those details, or possibly Fi for the emotional attachment, as Se doesn't have a good memory for them if there's nothing to latch onto in the other functions. INTJ: It's weird how animated I actually get when talking to a (probable) INFJ I met. Like, we have conversations where I become so mentally stimulated that I end up continuing the conversation for hours (possibly even days...) in my own head. It's a very different experience to the norm since I'm used to zoning out of conversations out of boredom and forgetting about them immediately.

As an INFJ (sorry, couldn't miss this opportunity LOL), I can say I'm not annoyed at all. It is actually super cool and made a lot of sense to create different layers and meanings. Even cooler that there were cases when the audience thought they found a hidden meaning, and there was nothing there. Sounds relatable with trusting 100% on the NI and ignoring the actual reality. And I have the theory that some INFJs might get annoyed with how INFJs are portrayed in some videos because we're used to be pointed as the masters of reading people but we are not always able to see ourselves from a perspective of people of different types, some might think "if it is not as the way I read, then it's not accurate." And, well, different people read people in different ways. I luv your videos, Kristin! ❤

INFJ here. I really appreciate all the effort you put into your INFJ video, into all your videos. It's okay to not understand everyone/everything, as long as you're being respectful about it. No hate. That said, the video felt stereotypical and -despite all the layers- still superficial to me. I could immediately tell that you don't really get what INFJs are like because you aren't one. For one, I hate vague platitudes and I do not like to label people (except myself but that's another story). I'll admit I tend to read into things too much, overthinking and overinterpreting things - it can be a problem. But I'm not as judgmental and set on how I perceive other people as the video makes us out to be (implied through the translucent people, platitudes and the different backgrounds). And yes, I'm probably taking your videos way too seriously (I tend to take a lot of things too seriously...). But don't worry, I would never unsubscribe because of something petty like not agreeing with one single video. But I do want to stress that I strongly disagree with putting other people in fixed categories like that, labeling and stereotyping them like that. Ironic, I know, as the 16 personalities are doing just that. But to me learning about different personality types and which I'm closest to lets me learn more about myself - nothing more, nothing less. That's why I'm watching your videos. It's not about (stereo)typing others, it's about self-discovery and self-reflection as well as gaining a better understanding of how different/ly people view the world. Sincerely, an INFJ

All of this exactly. We are very hard on ourselves will go through lengths to not label others and will tolerate abuse to a point (door slam). For me it was overall too dark.

@@jessicathespy Yea, I agree. Being an intuitive doesn't mean that you are all-knowing overlords of the universe or some kind of a God or anything but people are meme-y by nature and derive fun out of weird things especially if it involves making fun of others (take sitcoms or romcoms for example). I have so many problems with using stereotypes generally speaking but this particular INFJ one is so ridiculous and unbelievable I am surprisingly okay with it. On top of that, this stereotype is mostly harmless too; the most chaotic situation this stereotype could cause is misunderstanding (atleast from what I thought) but that can be resolved in a matter of minutes if you properly communicate with the other person. If you find it hard to communicate to a person for whatever reason, don't even reveal that you are an INFJ to that person to save your energy. Hope I am of some help.

I'm not sure if that's because I find them misrepresented or, because I find them correctly represented but only dwelling on the downsides of being an INFJ -- as opposed to other types, mostly extroverted, whose upsides are in focus in most of the videos. The 'Through the eyes of an INFJ' video was thoughtful but the fact that you made this seperate video to explain it makes me so much happier because it not only tells me about all the interesting trivia in the video itself but also that you gave INFJs so much thought. While I can't speak for every INFJ, I thought the video was very well made and accurate. There are a few things I disagreed with (specifically about INFJ+INFJ, and The XNFPs) but it was definitely not annoying! A while ago I came to terms with the fact that others don't see the world as I do, they don't see the layers and patterns as clearly as I do, and it's not really fair of me to expect them to do so. And it's okay if you don't understand INFJs, I don't fully understand ESFPs, but I really enjoy trying to understand them, and you definitely bring a fresh take on a "genre" of video that is usually made by intuitives and/or introverts x). I will say I enjoyed the layers in the background, and I'm proud to say that I understood what most of them represented in regards to the type you were showing. 😁(which also tells me that you did a good job in creating that deeper layer x) I talked a little about it in the comments of the original video, but I think it's easy for younger or less mature INFJs to get completely lost in looking for meaning, when some types - especially Se types like ISTPs - are really more of "what you see is what you get" types. We can look for patterns where there really are none and come to conclusions that are completely false, because we think "there's always a pattern". Sometimes a brick wall is just a brick wall. 😅 I think it's important for INFJs to use our Se and Ti too, and _look_ at the facts and situation around us, instead of assuming that we understand someone when we don't. Also, definitely gonna check out the podcast!

As an Ni dom my method to add layers is just leave it all in ambiguity. Kind of like the less sensory stimuli, the more intuitive stimuli. For example, a lot of people daydream scenes to music. I don't usually pay attention to the lyrics when listening, then I get to imagine something. Or when I read the lyrics, I don't listen to the music to paint the abstract message in my Ni head. My ESTJ grandma thought I was having hearing difficulties for always killing my music or hers when she or me is talking. Not because I don't hear her, I usually can clearly but I just cant comprehend her meaning with all the noises I'm hearing. Which is why my fave vid is ironically the fire alarm skit.

Also, I had an image of the beach while thinking about this. The sun does not wait for anyone to sink, much to the disappointment of the sand because it only shines when the sun has risen. This denotes to the people who are warm and kind to others, yet when they disappear, shadows lengthen, darkness deepens, and those who found solace in their kindness are left wishing for more.

Thank you for all your effort on this video! My favorites from the skit were ENTP and INTJ. Really love the detail that everyone was wearing a black t-shirt. I did not notice, and that's so on-brand as an INFJ. I appreciate that you broke down all the details, thank you! My last minute guess was that the numbers were the amount of wounds each type was suppressing, in retrospect, the decoded message is so obvious. I think someone would have cracked it had there been a number score in the background of the patreon section, showing us that the number applied here. Ahh, no matter, we had fun trying to figure it out.

For me, trying to read an istj is like a brick wall, and Istps are the ones I accidentally put subtext into, same with infp’s oddly, I try to read their emotions or see the layers there (I get bored in conversation so I need to entertain myself sometimes) but infp’s are always surprising, and I can’t really understand where their emotions come from exactly, very interesting. Good vid though

I (INFJ) can’t really relate to this looking for emotional trauma in everyone at all. If anything I feel like all my friends have their shit more together than me. I just feel like I’m good at putting myself in other shoes because I’m empathic, and I will consider that in how I treat them. I also feel like I can see through hidden motives quite well or maybe pick up more readily when somethings „not right“. However, I will likely project that towards me. But as to the seeing through people, I probably overestimate their feelings a lot, because I have to take myself as a reference.

I'm an INFJ and I love, love, loved your video. It's seriously refreshing to see it be brought down to earth, I'm just a normal person who likes personality types and I find the INFJ idealisation you sometimes find quite annoying to be honest. The thing is over the course of my life I've had more paradigm shifts and ego deaths than I can count, once the INFJ has a 'frame' of things they assume they have the whole picture until it literally crumbles to pieces. No matter how many times this happens I'm still constantly surprised by how my perspective shatters periodically in order to be renewed, before this happens I'm totally conviced I have the whole picture, it's the fear of change and the synthesising convergent mindset and it's common with Ni doms (my INTJ boss also did this). This is a blindspot which can make you arrogant and MISS A LOT if you're not self-aware and humble. Your perspective is enlightening me!

I feel like INFJs feel protective of their MBTI community environment, so it's pretty natural to feel anxious about portraying them right. That being said, even with all these unintentional roasts I thoroughly enjoyed 'through the eyes of' series. What I love reading these comments is that most INFJs seem to be of a consensus that she doesn’t fully understand or accurately portray us, but we appreciate her efforts. It’s awesome to see someone go to all these efforts and add all these layers in her own way to express it. It is true what others are saying that we don’t judge people that harshly. I tend to recognize their issues and how to help them, but I want to be there for them and help them. We aren’t just looking for wounds to be nosy, but we have a sincere desire to love and help people. We know what it is like to not have people care and don’t want others to go through it without support. I loved all your detail. The translucence element was especially clever.

I didn’t notice the Black shirts though but of course I saw INTJ with the hat and mustache 😂. The number thing was also fun since I thought (like prob most infjs did) was something with more deeper meaning like how much we like them, should we trust them, is what they’re saying truthful etc. Also don’t feel like you’re doing a disservice to INFJs or worry that you got us wrong, we are called chameleons for a reason and we often contradict ourselves all the time. 😂

As an INTJ, I’m not surprised that I thought of all sorts of possible ways to decode the message, but the possibility that it could have been the order of the letters of the patrons completely eluded me. It felt satisfying to finally decode the code though. As for the layered nature of the INFJ video, the explanation of the thought that went into everything only bolsters my appreciation. I recall watching the first video in your series of “types through the eyes of specific type” and thinking to myself, it would be impressive to do one for every type like that. Since that first video in the series, they have only improved, and I share each one with my INTJ friend, so we can discuss our thoughts on the INTJ parts, among other things. As someone who appreciates depths of knowledge, your ability to combine and express that depth of knowledge on personality types in an entertaining and often thought provoking way has kept me coming back since I first discovered the channel. I look forward to future videos, and occasional future codes to spend an hour on, only to completely miss obvious possibilities.

Hate to do it but... INFJ here (sorry) and I want to say while I didn't really agree with a lot of the stuff with the original video, I also recognize that not only am I older and have probably outgrown a lot of stereotypes (and also maybe don't put too much thought into deciphering how I feel about things in general) but... it's just a video! lol It's for fun. You're allowed to make an entertaining video on your take of us and whether it's wrong or right it doesn't hurt anyone. For any INFJ out there that feels upset with Kristin's video: your identity is more than "INFJ" and how others might perceive how you behave or think. It's going to happen a LOT. We are all unique, not just INFJs, and plenty of the other types don't "fit" with the other videos of themselves (no offense intended to you Kristin hahah). It's important to learn how to cope when you're misunderstood and how to be constructive with that energy when it happens. With that being said, thank you for your hard work and even putting in the extra effort to explain your video. You've put a lot into this creation and it was fun! The only correction I'd like to add is sometimes meeting another INFJ feels amazing to have as a friend because they 'get you' and have similar reactions that don't make you feel so alone like getting upset on your behalf when you're too overwhelmed to stand up for yourself. PS I really liked your tea series and wish it continued tbh! Was really cute. :)

You asked for comments on your INFJ on X takes! Here is my take on your takes on their takes. INTP - INFJ’s love living in Introverted Thinking and deep diving with Ti Doms. I would have gone with the library but mimicked the INTJ approach where the INTP is OVERLY lively and engaging because those Ti chats are really stimulating. ISFJ - Accurate ISFP - Don’t know any to compare but being agreeable if the person is just an acquaintance so you don’t really care is accurate. ENTP - My Favorite. Accurate ISTJs - Projecting on to them….maybe?? There is a spark of energy in them that could mean all kinds of things…or nothing. ESFJ’s - NOPE cannot be around them at all. The people-pleasing comes off as SO fake and that undercurrent of controlling behavior is so repellant. ENTJ - Love this one - Accurate ESTP - Yup! Suppress those wounds! My older sister is an ESTP and I don’t think I even know her on a real level. She’s the type that you think has her act together yet somehow every one of her vacations has some disaster related to poor planning. Her ability to ignore her marriage imploding and both not care or do anything about it is very very confusing. ESTJ - Another favorite. Accurate ESFP - I don’t know about admiring…it’s tricky. It’s like if you hate musicals and that’s what they want to talk about and invite you to do all the time. It’s not bad but there is just so little in common to even try to attempt to bond with them. They are also the ones inviting you to things and you spend all week practicing excuses to decline. ENFP - INFJ’s would see all the garbage and it WOULD make perfect sense. ENFP’s random humor is the BEST. If I didn’t have an agenda to talk about something specific I would have no problem just talking about random stuff. INFJ - Accurate. What do you do when two people don’t want to impose on the other and keep their distance? Very hard to make friends unless you are on a work project together that forces constant interaction and then it’s a blast. Reading INFJ comments also gives me cringe because I wonder if I also come off as so….overly verbose. ISTP - Hilariously Accurate - I wouldn’t even bother to try to get emotional as I know it would make them uncomfortable so I just keep the chats in the Ti/Se realm and talk about practical stuff. INFP - Very Accurate except the INFP opens up very very easily with their feelings in my experience. The feelings are sometimes too much where I’m like SHUT UP ABOUT YOUR GIRLFRIEND YOU DATED FOR A WEEK 20 YEARS AGO AND TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE LEPRECHAUN! Somehow 95% of all my close friends are INFPS. ENFJ - That pride line is SOOOO accurate. ENFJs are easy to understand and get along with and are actually WAY more selfish than they like to think they are. INTJ - 100000% spot on.

Lol I love the constant disclaimer-giving, you’re adorable (also, any INFJ’s giving her crap, calm tf down). Anyway, I’m an Ni dom (90% sure it’s INTJ rather than INFJ due to certain patterns of repeat behavior blah blah blah) and I thought you did a terrific job of portraying what Ni is like, particularly from an outsider’s perspective. In my experience, it’s kind of like a heads up display a la Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit that constantly feeds me data about the sensory world, but at a subconscious level. It’s not like I literally notice my thought patterns going “dark clothing + sideways glance + affected/faked ‘confident’ body posture + hesitation before speaking + (dozens of other sensory details) = intense but insecure person who may or may not be unstable, interesting friend but hoo boy red flags.” It’s more that I just KNOW things and hell if I can tell you how. It becomes like trying to explain a smell. The person (or place) just has a “vibe” to them. I’ve long since come to terms with the fact that people can’t see what happening in my head, but that doesn’t stop me from trying to communicate my conclusions in a way that makes sense to them and has an impact on their decision making. Also, when the person or idea or book or movie or whatever is particularly interesting, THEN I become like a dog digging on a wet beach trying to get at clams. I MUST find the one unifying principle behind everything that makes this person/event/idea/etc up in order to have a sense of it, to rotate it in my mind, to feel out its dimension and shape until I fully understand it. However, the digging is often fruitless, but I almost don’t mind because the moment I figure it out, when I get that clam, I lose interest. Re: not finding someone belonging to your same type all that interesting, I would say that other INTJ’s are still fascinating to me (I’ve always had crushes on INTJ’s, lol), but the fact that they’re considered “spooky” or “scary” just makes me roll my eyes. There’s nothing mysterious about the thought process to me, lol. Edit: oh, and ENFP’s are chaotic but they give me life. My best friend is one and we definitely feed off of one another. She’s like a kite in the wind and I’m the one using the force to surf, lol.

I appreciate the attempt to understand, and the reflections of resonate insight that help us see from the outside....and the recognition that it's not possible to entirely/accurately do so, especially when dealing with generalizations. My personal experience is I'm deeply secure within myself, not so secure within the worldly reality constructs nor relatable to the majority of others beyond simple human appreciations and joys of spirit...unless we share some kindred depth of perception. I'm personally very sensitive to my physical surroundings and detail-oriented. I just try to understand existence/life/reality and live true to my soul, and use my logical and intuitive mind to figure it out...I've learned to temper that compulsion to understand everything..... and still finding my way to navigate the overwhelming amount of spiritual, mental and somatic information that I'm taking in 24/7. I've been dating an ESFP for the past year and you are correct in your assessment :D Can def be too much for me but I let him be who he is. It's helpful to understand the functions and it's very INFJ to try to figure out these patterns and the structure isn't it? Of course we are all very unique - and the mystery is a part of it all too.

I actually think you did well on all counts for the orignal video. No critique from this INFJ and ENFP's are lovable but scatterbrained and I do get quite bored talking to them as they only want to talk about all the random things their friends do. Keep going and you don't need to try and please INFJ's or cater to us as that detracts from the unbiased nature of showing us how the world percieves us and judges us which is the motive for many of us.

I love this kind of content in which an autor explain how and why they did what they did. As a writer myself (and having written precisely a historical-fiction fantasy novel based on history of my country), I was pleased with this video, it was incredible! It's understable you would shutdown after that INFJ video, though. Well... It's true that ENFP's chaotic nature can be difficult to understand by some people, but I would say that, although beind perplexed in many occassions, INFJ can understand us... Although INFJ will be dizzy if ENFP use their Ne idea-to-idea jumpy gimmick too much. One INFJ friend of mine once told me after I wrote a huge text message with lots of different thoughts, some of them with no relation, "How do you manage to think and write this much!? I'm flabbergasted" (I'm paraphrasing, because we speak Spanish, to begin with). So, in conclusion, INFJ do get us ENFP... by a limited time when we don't go hyper-rainbow-space mode XD XD Now, I'm ready for this series big finale! I wonder if "16 P through ESFP eyes" would be either the easiest or the hardest video for you to make XD XD Are you going to do a separate compilation of these videos called something like "XXXX through 16 Personalities' eyes"?
