Hi Jacob. Love the Chanel and the vids, very informative. In regards to the movement of the rails would you be able to use a self tapping screw to hold them in place and stop the movement, as opposed to rivets?
Nice informative video Jacob. Im wondering if Stainless/Steel Rivets may have helped your setup. All that holds the Rhino Back Bone to your roof is rivets and they seem really sturdy. The only difference I can think of is the roof has more steel for the rivets to fix to? My Roof Top Tent mounts to the same rail but its fixed to a HSP Roller R Cover that is then fixed to the side walls of the tub. So far it has taken a beating but I do like the idea of the PSR Rack you've chosen. Im now considering the PSR after seeing your post on the Raptor FB Page. Just wondering how I can modify it to mount to the HSP T-Chanel.
Murray Osgood thanks for the input Murray, I think the issue has more to do with the fact I’m going through one layer of steel compared to the roof which is two too three. It tends to stretch the holes. In my new rack system it’s going through the two layered steel on the tub which should be sturdier
