Please have a look at the mark scheme, there is a newer one that should be used: 8 mrks section 1 ; 18 marks for Plane Geometry & 18 marks for Solid Geometry and 71 marks for Biilding / Mechanical.
I have a question Sir Cargil; be it that itbis AutoCAD and not Traditional Method, do you mark for the traditional geometric construction or the application of the appropriate autoCAD command.
Resources needed to ensure that people are kept safe when working in an industrial zone or in a workshop or laboratory. Things like hard hats, overalls, goggles and so on.
Mr. Cargill, I have a question... for paper 2, lets say a question ask to construct a polygon given the length of 1 side. Using Autocad, is the candidate required to show arcs for bisecting a line? Because you can easily draw the perpendicular bisector using the line's midpoint with object snap on... same for dividing a line into 12 equal parts... is it required to show the 12 arcs or can they just use the DIVIDE command to get the nodes and then use those nodes for the task?
If you do building drawing paper 2 will only be building for CSEC TD and if you do Mechanical it will only be mechanical drawing. No polygons are ellipses. Just be aware of the different terms such as draw, construct, produce etc.
@@mr.cargill thanks for your reply. My child is doing Building drawing. So just to be clear, won't she be using Autocad for paper 2? If so, then when a construction task comes along, would she be penalized for not showing arcs and the like, but uses Autocad features instead?
