I'm so sorry for your loss, you are in my prayers. My dog Capone passed away on Friday March 4. He was 15 yrs old. The pain of loss is so great, my heart feels like it is broken, he was my best friend. But he is in heaven just like Cutie. They are truly the lucky ones they are in a far better place than here on earth. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Keep strong!

I lost the cat I grew up with a little over a year ago. It was really difficult for the first few months. To this day I still get emotional thinking about her, but I don't feel like I'm missing a part of myself anymore. It takes time, and I know it's hard right now. Sending you my love! It will get better soon

I am so relieved to know she past so peacefully and happily, having you there with her and not in any pain. God took her slowly away from you so you could have time to adjust and say goodbye. She lived a very good life and now she will live without any more pain and uncomfortableness. You did everything perfectly Em, you gave her peace from her sicknesses and took care of her the best. 💜
I understand this too... I love the two dogs i have like my own children but I rescued them and the love i have/had for my 17 year old that i put down almost a year ago today doesn't compare.... it is different and I do get it
