Yes, you have imported Cmakefiles from other's repository and have not used your own. Thats why you are getting such errors

how different is catkin_make and catkin_make_isolated?

Catkin_make builds all packages at once interlinking them as it goes. Catkin_make_isolate isolates all packages and builds it for you.

I got an error ImportError: "from catkin_pkg.package import parse_package" failed: No module named 'catkin_pkg'
