Today I give a simple explanation of VPNs, what they actually do, and some situations where you'd need them, as well as some where they aren't nearly as necessary as some say. Thanks for watching!

I use a light theme :3 I use both actually, and usually have it auto-switch at night time. I like being able to save electricity by lowering my monitor brightness

chrome is better than firefox. I am curious what you could possibly like better about firefox?

I'm glad to share some reasons why I prefer it: - Chrome has built-in tracking and telemetry from Google, meaning Google can spy on all of your browsing habits. Not a fan of that, and Firefox lacks it - While Firefox was created and is mainly developed by a big company (Mozilla), they're notable for their support of open-source and privacy. Firefox is open-source, meaning that anybody can view its code and how it's made. Not only Mozilla works on the browser but so does the community, making contributions. This can also be better for security, as people from all over the world are inspecting the code - Firefox is generally more lightweight than chrome, both in size and in resource usage - Firefox recently introduced "containers" which I am a big fan of. It allows you to isolate your internet activity and logins from each other. This is good for if you want to use your browser for both work and personal, as I can just contain all my work stuff to its own container, and my employer wont see my personal search history or habits, etc. - Firefox is much more customizable than Chrome, not only in core functionality but primarily in looks. You can make your own CSS and stuff to design your browser however you want These are the biggest reasons for me. I'd love to hear your thoughts on why you believe Chrome is better. Thanks

@@TotallyNotK0 As far as tracking goes, Firefox tracks you as well. Chrome has "profiles" which are similar to containers. Chromium is faster than Firefox and Firefox has a lot of compatibility issues. In my opinion ungoogled Chromium would be the best browser. Which is similar to hardened Firefox. While Google Chrome is closed-source Chromium is open-source. The compatibility and efficiency is the biggest reason I think Chromium is better. I am not that interested in much customizability.

Nord VPN and Express VPN are owned by the same company.

@@TotallyNotK0 mullvadd is the one I trust. Most of these VPN companies are just like 3 companies under a billion different names. They're all scummy and they're all probably selling your data. Iirc marketing companies own them.
