Live in north east central pa. A lot of ag around my property. I have tried brassicas and radish and the deer here seem to not like it after two years. I’m trying to have they best food plot to pull deer from other locations. I have not seem to find the magic product. I do like the Domain products. Soils tests are good. What could you suggest please.

Frank I could tell you to buy domain products all day long but I don’t your situation. The best food is unpressured and in the correct location. Maybe a grain would be better for you such as winter wheat. People over look the power of wheat and or rye. A lot of times you don’t need the ice cream crop such as brassicas. A lot of factors go into it.

Great information! I have a question for you. I have property in WV next week they are calling for freezing temps at night for a few days Should I frost next week or wait till the end of March?

Is getting that time I would say go for it. Make sure it’s a prepared seed bed that was prepped the following year and your not frost seeding into a area that was never a good plot or never prepped

There is going to be milo planted in neighboring ag fields and we are looking to start some smaller destination food plots with clover in the woods. Are there certain blends that you would recommend? Here in MO the summers can get pretty dry and hot, so would it be best to plant with the winter wheat/rye mix in the fall?

As long as there is enough sun for things to grow I would plant a soil builder blend in the spring such as domain outdoors overhaul blend. Then 45 days before your first frost I would plant winter wheat

What is Ladino clover? Why is it more expensive? Can I frost seed into a junk grass field then in spring spray the weeds without killing the new clover or should I wait until spring and kill off everything and start new?

It was minus 5 here last night and we have 4 foot of ice on the lakes. We will not be frost seeding just yet. Lol Great video. I will be frost seeding when the weather gets better on an existing clover plot that I'm extending under several wild apple trees.
