Hi. Great explanation. Thanks. I have a question: If 4 players are playing, the number of Explode cards are 3 in the draw pile. But when a player explodes, and doesn't have any defuse cards in hand - and eventually loses, does he then remove one Explode card from the draw pile?
Thanks for the nice comment. Yes that is correct. The exploding kitten drawn by the is out of the game along with that player (unless it can be defused). There should always be just one less exploding kitten in the draw pile than remaining players. You could leave the exploded kitten card in the discard pile or out of the game entirely if you’d like.
@@Play-In-Games Thanks for the instant reply :) I got one more query regarding the game: When a player draws the Explode card, and plays Defuse card from his hand, then places the Explode card back into the draw pile, does his turn end or is he required to draw a card from the draw pile to turn the end?
Also, can there be any instances where the discard pile has no cards left, and that it needs to be shuffled back to be used as the draw pile, as it is done in UNO?
players cannot look through the discard pile. Once a card is played and placed in the discard pile, it stays there face-up, but players aren’t allowed to go back and review it. The only exception would be if a specific card or expansion allows a player to interact with or retrieve cards from the discard pile, but by default, the pile remains out of bounds for inspection. Unless you set up a house rule and everyone agrees on it, of course!
Hiiiiii if i put the three hairy potato cats card, and asked for a defuse card from an opponent, but the opponent doesn’t have it, what happen next? Just move on?
What happens if the one who has to draw 4 cards plays a nope card? Does he have to draw 2 cards (because nope cancels the last attack, not the first) or end his move by drawing 1 card (because the whole double-attack was canceled)?
@@patriciaspringer3470 i'd guess the turn goes back to the previous player who still has to draw 2 cards. just as if the second attack card wasn't played
The Nope card works as a one time use on any action except exploding kitten or defuse cards. So in the case of cat cards being Noped, yup you can do that.
