In between Space Oddity and Hunky Dory, there's a whole other album that's overlooked here. It was reissued with an updated 'Ziggy' period cover; 'Man Who Sold The World', and it rocks as an album.

my all-time favorite bowie album. pretty much anything bowie did from the 2nd album to "let's dance" is untouchable and unequaled. even the period from tin machine to "blackstar" i think is a run that is just fucking solid. there will never be another david bowie.

Great and awesome video, though it is worth noting that he didn't have a "new band" for the Ziggy album: he had the same backing group on 'Hunky Dory', 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust...' and its follow-up, 'Aladdin Sane', composed of Mick Ronson on lead guitar, Trevor Bolder on bass, and Woody Woodmansey on drums.

Is this the most overrated record in history? The reviews always excuse such humiliation of eight line poem and song for Bob Dylan. Not just bad, embarrassing lyrics. And the pompous beweley brothers, free festival part 2? He’s made such great complete records This has great moments but is obviously flawed.I don’t know how every review ignores this. Dylan and 8 line are really really bad.
