This school looks very elegant!

One of the neat aspects of this is how you can walk through the school like this and no one is going Chernobyl on you about filming and having a meltdown. I also love seeing art work in foreign lands because art is one of the better parts of humanity that gives us a perspective of the world around us and opens it up to discussion. Very nice work Valeria!

American art schools never look so beautiful as that one. The kids are nicely dressed, too. Thank you for showing me. I don't know if I would fit in there as an artist.

The human figure is the most difficult to draw and I learned that when I was studying it before going into the military. I can do animals and scenery easy, but always had problems doing the human figure. Those are nice projects set up for the students to draw, and paint.

The students must be so lucky to be here! I wish I could attend this school, but I don't speak any russian (yet) :)

The classrooms and workshops are called ‘studios’ in english

I think the art form you mentioned would (in stone carving) be called bas relief. I.e. you cut the background away from the figure which then stands out.

When I went to Art School in the USA 1970s it was mostly male students..90+%....it was very rare to see a female student. Maybe in Russia its not manly to be an art student. In this school it appears there are mostly female students.

I can see you are like a small child 😲 who has just went through the portal like Alice in Wonderland,and for the first time met the big white rabbit 🐰 and the Mad-hatter 🎩, it's the feeling you are getting walking round the art college 🎨💖🏦 taking in everything you see🔲 👀. As I mentioned before to you Caroline McNairn was a painter of great talent that is why the Pushkin has her work on display,mention her name to the lecturers at the college I think they will be very happy you have mentioned her,she used to give lectures on art when she lived in Moscow to students and other artists,her best friend was Proffesor of Art at St Andrew University in Scotland were Prince William and his wife Kate studied art history they will one day be King and Queen of the UK one day.he is related to the Tsar of Russia,who collected art and was given art works as gifts just as the present Queen of the UK has in her collection of Art treasures. And may I say how.much I have enjoyed your Vlog on the Art College in Moscow.

Мне отчего-то не нравится смотреть на эти учебные малюнки. Хотя и заведение это считается "знаменитым". Сам учился в художественной школе, но рисовать учат всякую мутную дребедень. Понятно, что без этого никак не обойтись, но где уроки изящества ? Какие Ватто и Гейнсборо могут появиться из подобных стен ? Хотелось бы узнать, где именно сейчас в мире есть заведения, где изучают, как изображать предметы прекрасными, а не такими грубыми.
