Like your seating area. Particularly like your "backcloth". Looks like peacock feathers. So glad you're keeping up the channel, we look forward to seeing what is happening.

Thank you Archie, I saw the space which used to house the barbecues and thought I could better utilise the space. So the barbecues have a new home and I have a place for relaxation and reflection. The backcloth was a beach sheet I purchased online and it hides what lies behind 😀. I shall keep posting and so pleased you want to see more.

Thank you. Your RU-vid channel name sums up our garden. Planting memories, everywhere I look reminds me of something and why it was created. Keep posting, you have great content

Hi Sue, I'm new to your channel. I live in Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island, so the mildest climate in Canada (zone 9b). I have a few tropicals, but nothing close to your magnificent garden! It's my first year growing a Meyers lemon, which is a lovely specimen. Cheers, ~ Sandra

Hi Sandra, thank you for following my channel. I’m sure you will face challenges as we all do if you want a tropical garden. The hardest. Is protecting the plants from severe wet and cold. I’ve never had any luck with citrus of any kind. They always suffer when I have to bring them inside for the winter. Please let me know how you get on. Sue

@@OurEnglishTropicalGarden I will. So far, the lemons look lovely, but I haven't attempted to bring it indoors to our heated house in the winter! I was going to mention we also have a silk tree. I don't know if it's tropical, but it looks exotic. We had to give away our palm tree because it was about to hit the roof overhang. 🌴 ~ Sandra

Thank you Debbie, I’m just hoping the pond will clear soon but I’ve heard the straw remedy can take a few weeks. I’m trying to avoid adding anything.

Three of our 5 big cordylines are shooting out from the base( we cut them back) We lost all four of our tree ferns although they were protected.

So sorry to hear that. No signs of life on the cordylines here yet. I live in hope
